Oh, Bobo, maybe you shouldn’t have annoyed Mayor Pete. You made so many tacky comments about parental leave and “chest feeding” and your usual tone deaf, homophobic drivel. The Secretary of Transportation has brain cells in places where you don’t even have places, nitwit that you are. But Pete Buttigieg isn’t holding your ignorance nor your duplicity against you. He’s just calling you out on one specific lie so that when your constituents vote in a few weeks in the primary, they will know what a do-nothing, big talking bimbo you are. All hat, no cattle.
What is going to get comical here is the fact that Boebert is following the playbook set out by the Mango Messiah, which is that you just lie about what you want reality to be at that moment. Just this weekend Trump told a total whopper, that he never started the “Lock Her Up!” chants. That was the lie heard round the world. It went viral as soon as the Fox News interview happened.
Likewise, Boebert wanted to look like a good MAGA when the infrastructure will was being passed because she saw a way to have her cake and eat it, too. She got to vote against the Biden bill, and then when the other Republicans passed it, now she goes around bragging about how her efforts have benefitted her constituents.
She expects them to be that stupid. Pete Buttigieg is calling her out on her deception. I seriously doubt that she will respond to him because what response can she make? In the next couple of weeks before the primary, Boebert needs to rehabilitate her image and make nice nice with everybody.
I don’t think it will happen. I think that she’s going to go the way of Madison Cawthorn. He was in a very red, bulletproof district as well. Then he decided he would switch districts. We have seen this show before. We know how it ends.
Oh Lauren Bimbert when one is so dumb that they haven’t got the brains to see how dumb they are. Even so you are still in the 50th percentile of all Republicans taken together. Please my Republican friends when you blatantly lie about something that everyone knows the truth about you look desperate and delusional. most people know that you are lying but so desperate for power you will do anything no shame anymore no pretense of doing the people’s work. it streamlines everything. your only concern going forward is pleasing trump. If you need to lie… blurt it out all the Republicans are lieing. Then grovel for your master. Then attack the Dems with perverted conspiracies.
So, she’s taking credit for a project that’s happening in the district she’s LEAVING?
I wonder who she thinks (scraping together the two meager brain cells she might still possess) she’s impressing? The folks in CO-3 don’t give a rat’s behind about her since she decided to up and move on them and the folks in CO-4 where she’s carpetbagging to aren’t going to give a rat’s behind about something happening in another district. If she stayed in the 3rd, it’d probably be enough to help her get through a primary even though she voted against the whole bill that funded the project; Republicons, in general, just love to whine about “pork” unless/until it’s for them–then they’re more than willing to take credit for all of it, even if/when they voted against the bill that made the “pork” available (and their voters are the same way–they’re told how bad “pork” is but as soon as it turns out the “pork” is for them, they just can’t enough). But hogging credit for something that (most likely) won’t even get started until after the election when she’s no longer going to represent the district is just, well, so typically boeberty. (I think we can now start using “boeberty” as a synonym for “stupid” especially the kind of stupid that Lauren so brazenly displays. Maybe, “bimboeberty” would also work?)
I doubt CO 3 would give a happy rat’s ass about Bobo even if she stayed. They’d had enough of her performance, in congress and in the theater, to last a lifetime. You’d be hard-pressed to pick a number 1 for the Most Worthless Republican/Politician but she’d give all the leading candidates for this award a run for their money.
Her and MTG are neck in neck !
