Propaganda is nothing new in the world. Leni Riefenstahl was probably the originator of the artform and with her cinematic abilities and Joseph Goebbels’ ideas, the Third Reich was depicted as something it emphatically was not. Now we are seeing the same techniques applied to Trump 2024. As you read here earlier, there is quite a dispute about what the size of the crowd was. So none other than Roger Stone jumped in and Stone is like Rudy Giuliani. You may remember the EU ambassador, Gordon Sondland saying, “Every time Rudy gets involved he goes and fucks everything up.” Here’s Roger’s contribution.

What’s that you say? Since when are there mountains on the New Jersey shore? See, there you go being picky. No wonder Roger’s bummed out. What probably happened here is that Stone asked himself the last time he’d seen a picture of a 100,000 person crowd and this came to mind, to sell to the rubes. And who can blame him? He’s sold the rubes a hell of a lot stranger things than this in the past. But this is where it all goes south. That’s not 100,000 people in that photo. That’s 3.5 to 4.2 million. That’s a fish from a different kettle.

Leni Riefenstahl would never have put up with this level of incompetence. Roger would have been sent to Siberia.
Roger’s lost his touch, clearly, if Team Trump is calling and saying, “We need an image for a massive rally turnout,” and Stone starts flipping through albums in his living room. See, it’s all in getting your thinking straight. If the party tells you that there are mountains in Wildwood, New Jersey, then by golly there are. And if Trump has 100,000 (or 3.5 million, whatever) listen to him speak at those mountains, then lo, verily, it did come to pass.

Maybe that’s going to be the lesson of Trump 2024. America wakes up, finally. Because if this is the bilge that is being pumped out and if people believe it, then we are in trouble. The lesson is that right-wing media and dirty tricksters will stop at nothing — which means that the leftist outlets who exist precisely to expose this kind of thing need to stay on the job. 2024 may seriously boil down to a battle of Truth v. Lies and who’s paying attention to what.

what the nazis pumped out was more than believed in 1930’s germany, it was acted upon. people are intentionally stupid. We should be afraid, because I am not sure the nazi in so many americans is ready to raise up once again.
