Far from looking victorious yesterday afternoon after New York’s Appellate Court reduced the bond he must post to appeal state Attorney General Letitia James’s civil fraud case against him from $450M to a mere $175M – which he will first insist he will pay in cash before beginning another media campaign to avoid posting any amount at all – Trump made a brief lie and gaffe filled appearance in yet another New York City courtroom looking haggard and definitely sounding confused… a fact that was not lost on the Biden/Harris command HQ:

Huffington Post on MSN

“President Joe Biden’s campaign on Monday released an unusually blunt statement tearing into Donald Trump as “feeble, confused, and tired” after an appearance marked by verbal stumbles as well as a bizarre social media post in which he likened himself to Christ.

“He spent the weekend golfing, the morning comparing himself to Jesus, and the afternoon lying about having money he definitely doesn’t have,” the statement said…

… Trump on Monday faced two court decisions.

In one, a judge reduced the $464 million bond in his fraud case to $175 million and gave him 10 days to come up with the money. In another, a judge ruled that Trump’s criminal trial in the Stormy Daniels hush money case will start April 15.

That led to a rambling appearance by Trump with several gaffes, including an odd moment where the former president insisted that “you can’t have an election in the middle of a political season.”

The former president added: “We just had Super Tuesday, and we had a Tuesday after Tuesday already.”

Trump also vowed to “bring crime back to law and order.”

Josh Marshall posted his assessment of drumpf’s appearance and demeanor, as well as the Biden/Harris statement in full:

While the Gropinfuhrer’s Freudian authoritarian slip asserting that elections should not interfere with politics, a stance which the Republican Party seems hellbent on realizing, and the less damaging yet still laughable Trump realization that Tuesdays recur are newsworthy indeed, the “bring(ing) crime back to law and order” is the statement which really held my attention because, verbal mishap aside, it most closely illustrates, amongst all his ridiculous ramblings, the Orange one’s entire career since his Daddy Fred gave him his first $400M dollar allowance and sent him forth to terrorize an unsuspecting world.

Tune in tomorrow folks, when we will probably have clips of the dotard realizing we’ve had more than one Wednesday this month and the beginning of his “Why should I have to pay any bond” campaign.

Because he is nothing but entirely predictable.

  2. No elections in the middle of a political season…’kay. I’m used to former guy making little, if any, sense but this goes way beyond that. The picture of the alphabet soup above is perfect. and yet people will vote for him to lead our country. into the trash can of history I”m guessing.

Trump in a recent speech: “We’re going to bring crime back to law and order.” He wasn’t kidding!

    • Let’s not forget Trump’s own intensive and extensive efforts in this area too. Indeed, it might be said that he has made more effort than anyone else.

Donald Trump, doing more to bring crime back to law and order than anyone else!
