Donald Trump warns about an *invasion* of migrants, frequently in all caps, but what about the immigrant he’s married to who spends what 100 people making a normal salary make in one year on her fucking hair? Maybe MAGA wants it to be this way. All I know is that if even $1K from a Democratic PAC went to pay for a politician’s wife’s hair, the screams would be so loud you’d be hearing them echo off the skyscrapers and canyons for years to come.

Remember the first year Melania was in the White House and she had a coat that cost $54K? I have personally worked my ass off for an entire year to earn $54K and that put the roof over my head, the food in my belly, the car in my garage, all of it. It wasn’t one fancy coat with flowers. Man, have we come a long way from the days of Richard and Pat Nixon when he boasted of her “sensible Republican cloth coat,” which I believe was a diss at Jackie’s mink.
Nixon made the argument in 1960 that he was a self-made man, which was true enough, whereas Jack Kennedy was born with the proverbial silver spoon in his mouth. And God knows Jackie spent money on clothes and what have you but not like this. And I’m sure she didn’t spend 4/10’s of a million dollars in two years on her hairdo, iconic and famous as it was.
What I find funny about the Topeka comment is that 25% of Kansas Republicans voted for somebody else this past Tuesday.
And don’t forget now, Trump was going to do a double rally last weekend, one in Ohio and one in Arizona. He had to cancel the one in Arizona for lack of funding. Trump can’t get to a rally but a PAC of his is making Melania’s hairdresser a wealthy man, what’s up with that?
I could understand Melania wanting to keep up with Jackie if she was, in fact, in the public eye. But she shows up what, once every three months or so? I just love this coming from the Party Of Fiscal Responsibility. Damn. This is so responsible.
Just wondering if maybe she’s getting a kick back from her hairdresser. Surely she’s seen all of this coming and putting a little nest egg away for herself just makes sense.
I seem to remember GOPers freaking the f**k out over Bill Clinton paying several Hundred on a haircut from some well-known stylist who happened to be available on day. I gather he didn’t ordinarily drop that kind of money on haircuts but if you think about it one time when he did when it became known you’d think listening to Fox and the GOP that HE had spent 400k. On a single haircut.
If we spent our time remembering gqp hypocrisy, our brains would not have any time to do anything else. The same party is keeping mighty quiet about these hair doo-doos. Let’s look at the good thing: the gqp is quiet for the moment. I notice gym bag and comer are mighty quiet as well about their shit-show impeachment–again, let’s be grateful they have STFU for the moment; their screeching can cause permanent hearing loss.
