Past is prologue and nowhere so much as with respect to Donald Trump. One quality of his that stands out is consistency. He is totally predictable. He makes no bones about what he intends to do in the event he’s returned to office. He’s even made it into a joke, “Dictator for a day,” har de har har. America has never had a dictator, even for one day, and let’s face it: it’s the nature of dictatorships that they don’t last for a day. Once that kind of personality takes control, they have no intention of giving up their power.
Neither does Trump. It’s already been anticipated that should he get back in the White House he will stay there in 2028. Why? Well, because the 2020 election was stolen and so he is owed four more years. That will be his play, make no mistake. I sincerely hope I don’t live long enough to see this come to pass. There are some times you don’t want to be right and this is one of them. Walk down memory lane and realize what manner of being actually wants to get back into the White House.

Trump is a clueless buffoon, yet a leaderless, rudderless GOP has rolled over and given him all its power. If they had not, he would not be where he is. They just love the fact that he can fundraise and form a cult. That’s what they all want to do. He can’t lead or govern, but who cares about that? The true GOP values nowadays are bread and circus. They may have stood for more in another day and age but that’s what they stand for today. This is who they are. All of them. A few notable exceptions are Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, who voted for his impeachments and removal. But with a few rare exceptions, this is who the rest of them are.
Remember, this is the best the Republicans can come up with. That was the case in 2016, 2020 and again in 2024.
If Trump gets back in the WH within a few months those images LP showed of the first four years of a Trump Presidency will look tame by comparison.

Let’s look at this.
He served one term 2017-2021.
He lost in 2020 or the election was stolen.
If he gets re-elected this year and serves it. That is a SECOND term
1+1=2
The constitution only allows a president for TWO terms.
If he tries to stay in office in 2028, that would be THREE terms which would require a constitutional amendment. He’d have to start working on that amendment of Day One.
I guess his cult not only flunked civics and history, but basic arithmetic as well.
