Donald Trump is a busy guy today. He’s got all kinds of videos and posts happening on Truth Social. It’s good that he’s using the place, while it’s still there, because it won’t be there for very much longer. If it survives until the end of the year, that will be an achievement. Past that, nobody is predicting, but I suppose anything is possible in Trump world, right?
Trump has posted several videos, saying that Joe Biden is the “Manchurian Candidate” and that follows up his mob speak demand yesterday, “Impeach the bum! They did it to us!” Well, umm, but there’s a difference, Donald, you see, you broke laws and so far all they can hang on Joe is maybe Hunter got on Air Force Two at one point, or maybe he did not. But that’s Jim Comer’s latest angle, is to demand travel records from the National Archives. In any event, back to Truth Social, Donald thinks he’s Winston Churchill. Oh, yes.

You’ve got enemies because you’re evil and corrupt, Donald, not because you’re a man of integrity, let alone courage. But keep telling yourself you are. Delusion is good for the soul, if the soul is already rotted beyond repair. I guess.
Then he posted the usual polls where he’s winning handily and then a thank you note from Kirk Douglas, of all people.

Both of the Douglases, Kirk and Michael are or were lifelong Democrats. So I guess the message here is that “even the Democrats love me.” Wrong.
This is a classy thank you letter, showing Kirk Douglas was the perfect gentleman, as opposed to vowing sycophancy and devotion to Trump — as he undoubtedly sees it. Two wives later, no less.
Then Trump goes after DeSantis. Why is that, I wonder, since legitimately Trump is creaming him in the polls?

Why beat a dying horse? All the political pundits are pretty much agreed that DeSantis is toast, not just in 2024 but in 2028 as well.
And then it’s Rorschach time. Trump has a piece up blaming Pelosi for January 6. The subtitle is, “Nancy Pelosi impeached President Donald Trump for her own negligence.” Righto. He’s plenty worried about the January 6 case. And all the rest of them, but he seems particularly upset about January 6.
Then he quotes a focus group leader who has reported that her focus groups tell her that the indictments make them want to support Trump more, not less. Mebbe. Mebbe not. There are other polls out there, which are going to be real ketchup bottle tossers, I’ll warrant that.
Now this is comical.

And then there’s polls, polls and more polls. It’s just Forrest Gump’s buddy with the shrimp, there’s this kind of poll and that kind of poll, curried polls, baked polls, ala king polls.
What’s that you say? Who’s he trying to convince, us or himself? Excellent point. The whole thing does seem to reek of insecurity to me.
Then Trump compares himself to Andrew Jackson, insofar as Jackson was hated, too, but he didn’t deserve it either. Not at all. The Trail of Tears was a pleasure hike.
Then he claims he’s raised over $20 million in three weeks. Perhaps so. You know what P.T. Barnum said about nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American people and Donald Trump certainly has not.
It goes on but you can check it out yourself if you want. The man is coming unglued and I don’t think you need to study psychiatry in Vienna to figure that out. The thread is endless over there. You hand will get tired spinning the wheel on your mouse. This guy is nutz.

” You know what P.T. Barnum said about nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American people and Donald Trump certainly has not.”
added to that…
“You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.”
― Abraham Lincoln
PO1135809 does rely rather heavily on the first part of that Lincoln quote while imagining that he’s getting away with the last part too.
As he is with everything else, he’s wrong.
I saw 49 tweets and flashed back to CSN’s 49 Bye Byes, on it was “Bye, Bye… Trumpty!”
Typical display of weakness that exists in the weave of a toxic fractured character: A lier that hides under a cloak of victimhood.
