Casey DeSantis went to a campaign event without Ron, because poor Ron actually has to work for a day or two because a hurricane is coming, can you believe it? When he’s busy out campaigning and all? What is God thinking, to allow such a thing? So Wifey took to the stage and she may have read the news alright, when she worked in TV, but she is no orator, let’s just leave it at that.

I don’t know about you, but it sounds to me like the kids are out of control and the last thing I want to think about is the image of these brats defacing the White House. And if this is the level of Casey DeSantis’ discourse, I think we could do without this coming from the White House as well.
Melania couldn’t talk for two minutes, she can barely string together two sentences in English despite living here for over 20 years, and actually I’m seeing that as a good thing now. Having been used to articulate Michelle Obama for eight years, it was jarring to get Melania in her place, but after listening to this, I’ll take the Slovenian Sphinx over the Floridian Floozie any day.
Casey and Ron are the perfect couple, though, I will give them that. They’re a matched pair. They both have an outsized vision of who and what they are and what they deserve to have.
This is true. Nobody gives a shit about any of this. People at an event like this either want to hear something about the campaign or they want to hear some anecdote that is meaningful, and stories about out of control children do not inspire confidence. At least not to me, because my experience is that people who can’t communicate with their own kids are not in touch with a lot of other things as well.
Casey aspires to be the next Jackie Kennedy. She should read some of Jackie’s writings. Jackie said that “if you don’t raise your children properly, nothing else you do matters.” Jackie was kids and home first, and yes, she was a fashion icon and had many other talents, in photography and publishing, but she made it clear that you take care of the kids first.
Jackie’s kids grew up fine. Caroline became a successful lawyer and John Jr. was an up and coming publisher before his untimely death. The DeSantis kids will grow up thinking slavery was a good thing because it provided free housing and trade school.
Casey deathsantis is the worst public speaker I have heard in a long time. And the children are out of control brats who are not being raised by anyone. They are raising themselves. That might or might not be a good thing. What a horrible speech, what a horrible family, and what a horrible thought that they might get into the White House. Heaven help us!!
Death Sentence has to beat former guy first. The more I see of his campaign, the less I think such a thing is possible…even in an alternate universe.
DeSantis’ polls keep going down. But he’s anticipating a big win in Iowa. That’s the basket he’s got all the eggs in. Does he not remember that Ted Cruz won in Iowa, too? I guess we’re just going to have to sit here and watch this go down. In any normal world, there wouldn’t even be a primary, with one candidate that far ahead, but this is no normal world.
if tfg lands in jail, it will become a free-for-all. The convention might be brokered. No major party is going to want to run an actual jailed felon for president.
I don’t believe he has much of a shot – unless enough states get dfg kept off the ballot using 14th Amendment. If what I have read is true, several states are going to try to keep dfg off the ballot. Then it’s anyone’s guess as to what will happen. Hopefully it will mean a win for President Biden but we’ll have to wait and see what happens.

My guess is that rambling about out of control young kids is an attempt by her to seem “relatable” to moms out there. A sort of “I understand how hard it is for you moms trying to be supportive of your hubby, work AND take care of the kids and the house” type thing. Alas, like her husband I don’t think it connects. More “robot trying to sound like a real human being” and sadly her speech function was stuck on “Don Jr. high on cocaine” setting!”
Perhaps moms out there are getting used to their husbands doing a bit around the house. Yeah, I know, women still do the lion’s share of household duties, even when they work full time but expecting some help from the hubby has become S.O.P. for many, perhaps most, households. I hope this rings very off-key with her audience although if it is a ‘pube/magat audience, it likely won’t.

They both are a joke. What I find comical is the fact that ostensibly Casey, as the former TV personality (or news reader whatever TF she was) was the one with the charm. She was touted as “DeSantis secret weapon.” If this is the secret weapon, honey, the war is over. Go home.
I wonder if they bought matching AR-15s for their kids to eventually help stop the WOKENESS? When I worked running the emergency services at a psy hospital, I’d have parents bring in their out of control teenager as an alternative to involving the law. They thought some psychiatrist could fix years of them letting little ‘johnny’ running them ragged. I would ask them what he did. They’d cry and relate he stole the family car, wrecked it, got caught with alcohol, came home and broke the TV in anger, kicked the family dog, and assaulted his sibling and them. I always asked: what would you do to me had I done any of those things? The answer was ALWAYS we’d have you arrested! My response? EXACTLY!! I tried to make it clear that, if they continued to let their teen be in control, it was going to be hell on earth and no professional on earth can fix bad parenting. I also tried to convince them it was either that or the LAW would step in eventually! Ron and his stepford wife remind me of those parents.
I see this so often in the papers, where some 20 or 30 year old finally goes too far and ends up killing someone in an auto accident or with a gun. When the history of the individual is listed, it goes back to teenage problems with the law, then to young adult problems with DUI’s, speeding, drugs/alcohol infractions, escalating to violence until whammy, he’s responsible for ending someone’s life. Locally we’ve seen young men stopped after being clocked going 140 or more mph on the freeways. All the mass shooters. The homeless. Somehow/somewhere we stopped doing early assessments on the mental difficulties kids were/are having. There apparently isn’t a system in schools to help direct kids to those who could help them. We could avoid so much tragedy if kids were assessed, diagnosed and treated early on for bad behavior. Once that behavior is baked in, so much harder to make changes. Then it IS up to law enforcement to deal with the problem.

I don’t think admitting that your children are running wild, defacing things, is a good way to go. Frankly, I’d wonder about giving them a hotel room if I heard about this in advance. When I traveled as a kid, I did what I was freaking told. Most people do.

The whole problem with this constitution and political freedom and politics is that you have a whole list of republicans serving in Congress that shouldn’t be there. This is the part that I really and truly don’t get. The only law specifically targeting election candidates and their eligibility and no one has the balls to stand up to these republicans and say get your asses out of here. What is the dam problem. Are they waiting for someone to charge the clowns or what. I mean it’s right there in black and white in the constitution, Don’t do this or you will be kicked out of Congress, or something like that and you have at least 150 people that did do that and no one does anything. It has become in some cases a joke. Then you have, what if Democrats did something like that. I don’t know, you know something I don’t. Hey if they did something wrong, do something about it.

And as fats as Joe Biden and Ukraine corruption. Joe Biden fired the corrupt guy and made it more difficult for them at Burisma. So who you gonna call.
