Holy Humiliation, Batman! Ron DeSantis has 2.1 million followers on his blue checked X account — and 4.5 million on his Florida governor account. That’s a lot of people. Evidently Ron was feeling insecure, maybe lonely, and he wanted validation. Or, he may have wanted money, and this was the prelude to a fundraising pitch and that certainly makes sense. It’s well known how he maxed out his small donors early on and then had to lay off a large part of his staff. So this is what went out on social media.

I assure you, we have pieces on this humble blog which have done far far better than this. I am happy to show you the ones that have gotten thousands of likes. This is very slim pickings, what you’re looking at here.
Small nit here: this is worse than you thought. Ron Filipkowski said this was up eight hours. Wrong. The 19th was yesterday. This has been up 32 hours. 
What’s that you say? Maybe Ron should try to get validated over on Truth Social? That’s a bit like Custer going to Sitting Bull’s teepee. But hey, we’ll pass the suggestion along.
And if anybody here is thinking, the poor guy, let’s not be mean to him: the heck with that. DeSantis is a fascist. He’s shown his stripes. He’s not going to change and the only way to safeguard America is to expose people like him for what they are. The political scene will be a better place when DeSantis is no longer a part of it.

Geez. While I have viewers who follow my stuff (and seem to be getting more lately but nothing to go bragging about) the bulk of what I’ve poste here and over on DK back in the day usually don’t get more than a few hundred or so viewers. And the bulk of THOSE get more response on twitter that THAT. It might be worth tuning in for a few minutes at the beginning of Wednesday’s debate to see live how shrunken DeSantis appears both in physical stature and demeanor. I think at this point in order to get attention he needs more than heels on his white boots. He needs to borrow Rudy’s drag gear and don a full-on pair of thigh high stripper boots and a pole dance!
He might as well ask Disney for free passes for his family. I’m noticing a lot of Florida license plates rolling around the triangle in north cackalacky these days. Hmmm…
