I don’t see Aileen Cannon walking away from this unscathed. I see her getting recused — perhaps more — after striking two of Jack Smith’s sealed filings and disclosing the existence of a grand jury investigation in another district. All hells a poppin’ this Monday morning.

If the DOJ filed under seal certain documents, and Judge Cannon just disclosed the existence of an otherwise confidential grand jury proceeding, we might be at the motion for recusal stage for the DOJ…

I’m no legal expert, just a layperson asking, isn’t this a beyond parody clownish overreaction by a district court judge?
She could’ve just declined the motion without the gratuitous opine on what is always supposed to be a red line to infer or disclose grand jury workings.

Step 2: Remove her from the bench.
Step 3: Charge her with obstruction and put her on trial.
Cult members stick together no matter their position in life. If I were a betting man, I’d put my money on Jack and leave it there. This woman clearly didn’t earn that position. She was put there by Trump and now she knows why. Jack, I’m sure, isn’t going to let a pair of pumps with a robe derail anything he’s involved in. My advice er ‘judge’…get yourself a good attorney…you may need one if you keep on.

Oh, I don’t know. She might have earned it on her back. She certainly did not earn it by exhibiting any type of legal expertise or knowledge of the law. Just how bottom of the barrel is the fed. society? Seems like their judge offerings, every one of them, are crap.
How in the hell does a cannon manage to shoot itself – point blank? Wow. I wrote an article yesterday about the battlefield practice of spiking cannons/guns and how Judge Cannon might find it done in the legal sense to her. I have to admit I thought she was following advice from her Federalist Society minders and via stuff like that insane trial date was sticking to helping Trump in ways just this side of being appealable, or leaving herself open to being replaced. Looks like I was wrong about that, and Cannon has “spiked” herself!
Good riddance to bad rubbish!
She didn’t have the experience, background or integrity to be given this trial in the first place and she just proved it.
She did not have any of that to get the judgeship.
