Yes, we are in Bizarro world. Thank you for asking. Dialogue is taking place about the potential of an American president governing from the Rectangular Office — a six by eight prison cell, to be precise. The howler monkey congresswoman, Marge Greene, is totally fine with this possibility. Donald Trump will get her vote.

And, on a practical level, the Secret Service might be just fine with this arrangement, too. After all, prison is a safe place to be on the inside of, not a great likelihood of folks breaking “in” right? So Trump’s location would be known to the agents that protect him.

And would they protect him in the shower? You know what happens in those places, or so we are told. The fact of the matter is, nobody knows how any of this works. New guidelines would have to be written for the Secret Service manual, because this is a case of first impression.

Trump is going to save the country from communism while serving a prison sentence. See, it’s so wonderful when you’ve lost your mind. I know, because I sit here and write sentences that no sane human being — even one with a vivid imagination, which I have — would ever pen and the sublime irony of my psychosis is that each and every one of you know exactly what I’m talking about, because it’s real to you, too. It’s not my hallucination. This is actually taking place.

And do you know what else is really happening? Trump is losing money. He claims, rather hollowly, that all he needs is a fourth indictment and the election is sewn up, but here’s an interesting article which says that as the indictments are handed up, the wallets are not opening so readily. Isn’t that intriguing? PoliticusUSA:

Did you notice what was missing after Trump’s third arraignment?

There were no staged campaign events. Trump had no bombastic remarks. There was no faux presidential primetime speech. Most importantly, there was also no press release about how many millions of dollars Trump raised off of his arraignment.

Why was there no press release?

The best guess is that the donations didn’t come in like the Trump campaign wanted.

Trump’s donations dropped by about roughly half from the 24 hours after his first arraignment compared to the 24 hours after his second arraignment. If the same drop happened again, it would represent a 75% drop in donations.

For a presidential campaign that is hemorrhaging money on legal bills, that is a big problem.

Trump even admitted that he is using money that should have been spent on ads and rallies to pay for lawyers, but legacy media continues to defy logic and tell us that Trump remains strong.

The big problem for Trump’s 2024 campaign is that he has made staying out of jail the focus of his campaign. Vote Trump and keep me out of jail is not a great motivator for most voters.

The Trump campaign isn’t about issues or the future. Trump is running to avoid prison. That’s it.

By the time all of the legal proceedings have finished, it won’t matter if Trump is found guilty or not, because he is being drained. The former president has no message left except SOS.

BWAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I LOVE IT! “No message left except SOS.” Or, as the inflated doll said at his arraignment Thursday, “WAAAHHH!! I’m your savior!! Now save me!!!”

Seriously, folks, if Trump can’t fundraise anymore — and he may have drained Ma and Pa MAGA out of their last savings, the quarters in the mayonnaise jar under the porch —  then he’s done.

Oh, and he was upset about his news coverage as well, evidently.

Let’s take stock, shall we?

  1. Being found liable for sexual assault, later amended to rape, was a drag but it wasn’t enough in and of itself in this sexist culture to hurt Trump all that much.
  2. The business with the Manhattan D.A., falsifying business records to cover up money paid to a porn star, again, in this sexist culture isn’t all that condemnatory.
  3. The classified documents issue is bad, but Fox News has been able to spin it in such a way that, yeah, but, it’s only paperwork, right?
  4. January 6 is a different breed of cat altogether. We all, collectively, as a nation remember the horror of that day. We couldn’t believe our eyes. I remember one commentator saying, “People are going to get hurt, if not killed,” and then less than ten minutes later a shot rang out and Ashli Babbitt fell. To this day I am amazed that the death toll from that day hasn’t been more.

Indictment 3 is different. And Indictment 4, which looks to be right around the bend, is going to be more of the same, because it shows Trump trying to steal the election, like Indictment 3 does. The two of them in concert are going to sound his death knell.

But Marge believes that he might get elected anyway. And truth be known, between the vagueries of the electoral college, the dark money going to No Labels and the moral rot and decay of this version of the Republican party, it’s not a good idea to rule out anything. But I don’t think so. I think we’re seeing the Fall of Donald Trump.

  1. Until the Fat Lady sings, it ain’t over. TFG has done more disqualifying things, aside from his crimes, than any other politician ever, yet still somehow remains in the hunt. Add in the crimes and it is impossible to believe any sane person would support him, but they do.

I hope he is tried soon and found guilty, but until he and his MAGA cult are decisively defeated at the ballot box, my champagne is staying corked.

Perhaps we need a stronger definition of sanity?

  2. Despite all the things going against him making him even more grumpy, I strongly suspect the one thing that really hurt him was the judge insisting on calling him Mr Trump, right after his lawyer introduced him as President Trump.

  3. Margarine is nothing more than an unintelligent political bottom-feeder. Packaged in a MAGA wrapping that lacks responsibilities – personal, professional, moral and ethical. She behaves and lives as, a reactionary, a verbal vomiting, dysfunctional, and permanently jammed open stopcock for MAGA. Just like Trump she believes she has an audience, an audience that legitimises her take on her hollow reality – manufactured by her delusions and puffed-up toxic ego. She has a use-by-date too, that’s going to torment her, in the future. Armchair psychology, in reality, is ineffective, but getting out and casting your vote is the best targeted and powerful medicine, for sluicing away Margarine the MAGA stopcock.

  4. You know, someone really needs to point out to Margarine Traitor Greene that *IF* we really were living in a “Communist regime” as she seems to “think” (using that word VERY liberally) then she’d be in a jail cell of her own for some vague “crimes against the state” charge.

Of course, she should also be reminded that her idol, Trump, has long fantasized of the day when HE could just toss people in jail (when he wasn’t fantasizing about just killing them outright) for opposing him. Maybe Margarine should have some of Trump’s 2016 campaign rallies replayed for her and then asked, “Who do you suppose he and his followers mean when they say, ‘Lock her up’ and why would they say that?”

She should also then be asked, “By the way, how is that ‘investigation’ by you and your fellow Republicans going against the Biden family? What specific crimes are you folks investigating about? That whole investigation seems to remind me of how a ‘Communist regime’ operates–by making up vague charges against their political opponents. Of course, they don’t let anything impede their investigations such as ‘holding hearings’ or ‘witnesses who actually tell the truth rather than stick to a preapproved script’.”

The sound of crickets could be heard from 1000 miles away as Margarine Traitor Greene is struck mercifully silent for a blissful 30 seconds (the silence would be broken by her saying “I’m sorry but I have to leave now; I just remembered a previous engagement”).
