Trump and his lawyers know as well as you and I, probably much better, in fact, that the chances of him prevailing on appeal are slim to none, but he’s got to bluster and make a big noise and act like he can win. Ergo, his lawyers filed a Notice Of Appeal with the Second Circuit U.S. District Court of Appeals a short while ago. The Hill:
The jury, sitting in federal court in Manhattan, found that Trump did not commit rape, but they agreed that he more likely than not committed sexual abuse, another way to prove sexual battery.
Carroll further sued Trump for defamation over a statement that he made in October 2022 that called her story a “complete con job” and that she “is not my type.”
Despite the jury’s finding that Trump’s denial amounted to defamation, the former president during a CNN town hall Wednesday night remained insistent that Carroll’s claims were made up.
And here’s a piece of irony for you, only in Trump world: on today’s morning news shows the possibility of E. Jean Carroll suing Trump AGAIN for defamation was proffered, because of how Trump spoke derogatorily of her, and the case, at the CNN town hall.
Trump can’t keep his mouth shut.
Well, let’s look on the bright side, shall we? E. Jean Carroll will win on appeal and Trump will owe her even more money in attorneys’ fees, etc.
Sue him again, and this time the jury should award her $10 million. And if he does it again, each time double the award, until he shuts his trap.

It does not take a genius to realize Ms. Carroll isn’t going to get squat-trump doesn’t have it and even if he did, he is quite skilled at not paying bills and drawing out things like this for as long as necessary.
Yes, Ms. Carroll should get what was awarded to her. Yes, the shit gibbon ought to be beggared in order to get the awarded money to her. No, it isn’t going to happen.
They could keep doubling the award until it reaches billions or trillions and it would make no difference. Trump is an idiot and as such, will never do anything approaching intelligence like shutting the fuck up.
I understand people wanting dfg to die but I want to see him live to be convicted of ALL the crimes against him. I realize he will never serve time but I really hope to have the satisfaction of him being convicted by Georgia, New York, and, most importantly, Jack Smith. I would, however, love to see a gag order applied to him….

That’s right, Ursula. Every time he opens his mouth or fires off a tweet he reduces his chances of winning on appeal. And since he is also targeting the court, the judge and potentially the jurors in this case, he may not only lose the appeal but also find himself facing criminal contempt charges to add to his financial losses.
This is a train-wreck that just keeps on giving. In a month this psychopathic liar and his associates will be facing conspiracy charges in Georgia. Let there be no doubt he will be in custody very soon.

He will go to the Supreme Court if he loses his appeal. He will.likely claim he cane be found liable because he said it while presiddnt, so.part of his official duties.
