No love lost between the governor of Florida and its most troubled resident. Ron DeSantis told reporters Monday that, “we’re not involved in it anyway,” referring to Donald Trump’s potential extradition to New York, should he be indicted by the Manhattan District Attorney’s office.
What’s that you say? What power does DeSantis have to help Trump fight extradition even if he wanted to? Welll, there is that minor point. The answer is zero.
I just love it when the GOPers get passive aggressive, don’t you?
DeSantis responded to a possible Trump indictment this morning—by taking a jab at the former president, saying: “I don’t know what goes into paying hush money to a porn star to secure silence over an alleged affair. I can’t speak to that.”

DeSantis comments on possible Trump indictment for the first time. Blasts the prosecutor but says “we’re not going to be involved in it in anyway.” Indicates he won't help Trump fight extradition if it comes to that.

This is not going to play out well with the MAGA base. Not one bit. They depended upon DeSantis to physically protect Trump in his Mar-a-Lago fortress, with troops.
If Ron Desantis is the conservative hero he projects himself to be, he should REFUSE to honor the arrest warrant for President-in-exile Trump and send the Florida National Guard to Mar-a-lago to ensure Trump’s protection.
Period. Anything less proves Desantis is a fraud. pic.twitter.com/v4odjRFIiJ

Well, I guess that makes DeSantis a fraud, but then we knew that.

There is no joy in MAGAville.
