Meghan McCain took time out from doing her nails to tap out a communique from her right wing yellow journal Mothership The Daily Mail to attack Beto O’Rourke for interrupting Governor can’t keep the lights on, Lieutenant Governor let them die of Covid, and Senator lock the kids in a metal box’s Uvalde, Texas School Shooting presser where they no doubt sought to praise the cops who hid from the gunman and offer thoughts and prayers in peace.
MCCAIN: This isn’t time for political stunts and Texans don’t need two-bit, washed up politicians like Beto O’Rourke hijacking their horror for his own selfish political interests.
There are certain politicians in America who exist in a vacuum on Twitter.They continually lose elections, have no actual power to speak of in their home state or Washington D.C., and survive off clicks, retweets and attention mongering.
Yesterday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott was holding a news conference in Uvalde, Texas when Beto decided to interrupt the event that included local leaders, law enforcement and representatives of the community-at-large.As we all are tragically aware, there was a horrific shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde that left 19 children and two adults dead and countless more injured and traumatized.
It is hard to fathom, even after so many shootings in this country, the horror that is the massacre of children.“
First of all, Meghan, that’s a horrible overuse of “horror” in six short sentences. Can’t you buy an adjective?
The only horror in that whole tableaux is the fetid horse-cakes arrayed on that stage whom you deign to defend. Thanks to leadership such as offered by Abbot, Patrick and Cruz, the Three Stooges of the Apocalypse, there is no horror left in the murder of children, only grief, dread of our future and uncomfortable numbness to the sickening repetition of these tragedies.
But you go out there and take your swings at Beto, who is at least trying to do something, who is down in Uvalde right now comforting the victims and survivors and took time out from that only to try to instill just a tiny bit of shame yesterday into the most powerful men in your state who have nothing to offer it’s citizens in their grief other than bromide and platitudes.

Democrats need to by billboards advertising that democrats will work to solve this problem and republicans will work to sell more weapons. At least the company that made this guys gun pulled out of the convention. At least you have one shred of decency.
