Lara Trump is in the process of remaking the RNC into an organ to serve her father-in-law. Evidently that includes a Ministry Of Truth function that has now come to light. If Ronna McDaniel ever did any of this, I couldn’t begin to tell you. Evidently there is some consciousness within the RNC of what a complete moron Donald Trump is and so Lara’s trying to memory hole that and present a different view of Days Of Donald Past.

Whether these are weekly posts or if Lara intends to rewrite history daily, we do not know at this time. I doubt that she read George Orwell or would even recognize the name but she’s got the concept that she who controls the past controls the future and she who controls the present controls the past.
Lying is such a Trumpian virtue, expect Lara to elevate it to great heights.

I’m going to be honest with you, the idea of this woman being paid $300,000 by a news organization to spew her level of drivel makes me want to throw up. There are so many worthwhile voices out there. If they want a “conservative” voice, there are plenty of writers at the Bulwark, just as a for instance, or the New Republic or a lot of places. Ronna was born a Romney. That is her sole qualification politically. She is the product of nepotism and she is a know nothing, do nothing. This is disgusting.
It won’t surprise you that #BoycottMeetThePress is trending on Twitter. This story will bear that tag and you can expect plenty more from plenty of other outlets.
The RNC was a mess before Lara Trump got her hands on it. People are disgusted that the RNC has now become an organ of Trump world, plus elevating J6 faux elector slate pusher Ronna to the level of NBC commentator is adding insult to injury.
I don’t know what it is with these networks but even after eight years of Trump world, they still don’t see that politics in America is not the same kettle of fish. Trump came in and changed the dynamic totally. Whether we ever get back to where we were in this country remains to be seen. I doubt it. A pickle never goes back to being a cucumber.
If we could at least get mainstream media to acknowledge that we’re even in the pickle, that would be a welcome relief.
The hostile takeover of the RNC also impacts other candidates who are running for Senate, who are running for House, who will not get these resources if all of the money is first prioritized for Trump’s legal fees. And that is something that is attractive to Democrats. They don’t mind if Republican House candidates don’t get aid when Democrats are trying to take control of the House. They don’t mind that Senate candidates across the country aren’t getting support from the RNC when we know Democrats are facing an uphill battle in terms of retaining control of the Senate. So, hey, this is bad news for Republicans, not just Trump’s bank account, but I’m talking Republicans on the ballot across the country.
The arrangement stands to make the Republican Party even more servile to Trump, because it will likely force local GOP chapters to compete, in a sense, for the pool of funds that are made available to them by the RNC. Trump tried to extort a foreign government into doing political favors for him. It’s easy to imagine the Trump-branded RNC refusing to finance state GOP chapters unless they agree to go along with all of his dubious political strategies and stunts.
Again, the GOP needs to collapse and then totally rebuild from the ground up. Nothing that is going on right now is viable for any kind of long term success.
Chuck Todd was a reason to boycott Meet the Press. Welker is even worse. We should boycott NBC.
