The Wall Street Journal reportedly has a yet to be published exclusive with more evidence tying Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein. The piece is explosive enough that Trump reportedly called the Editor in Chief of The Journal to ask him to kill the piece. Though this is relevant in a million ways, the focus should be on the few most obvious areas as seen in the fury that is firing through the internet right now, specifically on Bluesky (Follow me here). Let’s start with our friends over at Meidas Touch and move on to some analysis that you can supplement in the comments.
Major scoop from Status: Trump is reportedly terrified of an upcoming Wall Street Journal story revealing new info about him and Epstein—so much so, he reportedly called the WSJ editor-in-chief to try to kill it.
Quite obviously, one doesn’t call an editor with a request to bury a story if there is nothing to the story. If Trump has no association with Epstein’s client files (Assuming there is no official list, there are files from which a list could be made), then he ought to just wait for the story to be published and either laugh it off as nothing or shoot a million holes in it. Of course, if those two possibilities are impossible, then there is likely some problematic evidence in those files. And why should we beat around the bush? We all know the files are somewhat incominating, at least by association and obvious evidence by inference. (Trump knows they’re incriminating, he is also threatening to sue – analysis below tweets.)
This of course is on top of the stated fact per DOJ that there is no list and no evidence worth pursuing, but per Donald Trump and the White House Press Office if there were files or a list, it was produced by Obama and Comey, therefore it is like “Russia, Russia, Russia,” which – surely by coincidence, was all about Trump. We all know what is going on here. The point is that the Wall Street Journal appears to have evidence that had yet to be made public and may blow the doors of the place.
To that end, we have Bluesky going out of its mind in both speculation and ventilation over the news – this is, of course, even before the article is published.
I’ve gone from release the files to release the wall street journal story.

"Radical left Wall Street Journal" is gonna hit like hard drugs when Trump posts it
Here comes “The Wall Street Journal is a bunch of Woke Communist Marxists”
The most truth-to-power legacy media firm in the country is the Wall Street Journal.

In a post that’s oddly written in the third person, Trump (or whoever wrote it) announces he’s suing the Wall Street Journal and Rupert Murdoch
So did Obama create the “fake” parts of the Epstein files that implicate Trump? Or was it the Wall Street Journal? I’m getting confused

NEW: Trump just posted on Truth Social that he’s going to sue the Wall Street Journal for publishing the story. He admitted he and Karoline Leavitt threatened the publication. Can’t wait for discovery!

Let’s pay particularly close attention to that last one. The threat to sue the Wall Street Journal must be based on defamation. As is often noted about all defamation cases, the truth is the ultimate defense. There is no conceivable way that Trump goes through with the lawsuit because discovery would focus almost solely on whether the Journal published a truthful article – they would demand all the files in the possession of the DOJ. End of case.
Yes, yes, purported portions of the article, a picture, a note, have been published on the net above, but it’s best to wait on the full article to get full context. We won’t dive deep into those waters until there’s a pool.
For now, see above about the wave rippling through the blue ocean that is Bluesky. Something big is coming or Trump wouldn’t be threatening to go so big. This is not rocket surgery.
It should be out in a day or two. Meanwhile, some ketchup filled plates will likely be thrown at White House walls, some sleepless nights with rants on Truth Social published at 1:00 a.m., and possibly some Ativan or Adderall taken to smooth out the rough edges – allegedly.
This could be interesting. The Epstein matter is not going away, not until the public is satisfied that the most-damning evidence is released and perpetrators of statutory rape are exposed. (They are not “pedophiles,” the technical definition of “pedophile” is one preying on attraction to prepubescent children, as opposed to “ephebophilia” – which is the assault or attraction to very young post-pubescent teens.) We want those men exposed, the more powerful the better – to prove that no one can get away with preying on kids.
But it will be interesting to see Trump and others sweat it out. It is no joke. And truth must be held to power. The net is certainly ready to explode.
