At this point, your guess is as good as anybody else’s what just went on. Donald Trump started a news conference. He was minutes in, talking about absentee ballots and executive orders when a Secret Service man interrupted the conference and ended it.

Somebody on Twitter guessed that they heard the words “step out.” What might that mean?
This happened less than ten minutes ago at 2:54 p.m. PDT. Updates will be forthcoming as this story develops. It wouldn’t be another day in Washington without something weird and unexpected taking place. That much we do know.

There was a shooting outside the White House fence. Trump said that “the suspect” was the one who was shot. More details as they develop, in this or another post.
Yes, it was on in the background here and I wasn’t paying attention. I looked up to see hi, whisked out. He’s back already and I’m disappointed.
He just needed to remove some toilet paper stuck to his shoe.
And then he came back and told a lot more lies.
Sad that something bad had to happen to somebody else for this to be noteworthy.
