WATCH: Russian Media Freely Admits Trump Is Working For Russia As They Air His Rally Footage

How did America get in such a position where a former U.S. president is actually the tool of a bloodthirsty dictator on the other side of the world, who is currently aggressing against one of our allies?

We may be pondering that question for some time to come. In all events, Donald Trump gave two rallies this weekend, and went into his usual pro-Russia rant. His Putin pals are so grateful that he did. It gives them plenty of good propaganda to broadcast. Mother Tucker is good but an actual former president is so much better.

And Mike Pompeo and Elon Musk find their way into this as well.

You heard the lady. Trump’s comrade said,  “Trump should get ready for the firestorm of accusations that he is working for Russia.” Yes and that’s because he is. That’s plain as day.

Here’s the Fox News stance, meaning here’s the official Republican party view of things. or, let’s just put it this way. If there are “conservatives” who disagree with this posture, they have not been very vocal. Washington Post:

Tucker Carlson’s remarkably Putin-sympathetic view of the war in Ukraine has yet to catch on with large swaths of the conservative movement. But if it doesn’t, it apparently won’t be for lack of trying.

Carlson lately has tempered his unfortunately timed suggestion that perhaps Vladimir Putin isn’t that bad a guy. But with that point largely conceded, he now has shifted to assuring that Putin is not the only bad guy. Carlson on Monday drove home an argument that has lingered on the fringes of the conservative movement for some time — that the United States and the West invited this war with their support for admitting Ukraine into NATO, a step that Russia finds unacceptable.

To be clear, the idea that NATO expansion into countries such as Ukraine is provocative and might even be a bad idea is not a fringe position; it has long been espoused, dating to prominent, establishment foreign policy voices in the 1990s. But Carlson took things a good few conspiratorial steps further, arguing that the push for NATO was deliberately intended to provoke this war.

Carlson said it was “obvious” that “getting Ukraine to join NATO was the key to inciting war with Russia.” He noted that Vice President Harris was sent to Europe as Russia massed troops on Ukraine’s borders and that she said, “I appreciate and admire President [Volodymyr] Zelensky’s desire to join NATO.”

“‘Up yours, Vladimir Putin,’” Carlson summarized. “‘Go ahead and invade Ukraine.’ And of course Vladimir Putin did that just days later. So the invasion was no surprise to the Biden administration. They knew that would happen. That was the point of the exercise.”

And the beat goes on. Carlson is loved in Russia, he’s loved in Hungary, and Trump of course, is still the favorite mouthpiece of Putin’s murderous regime. That won’t change. Look for plenty of pro-Putin propaganda to come out of Trump and his MAGAs in the next 29 days.

This is what the GOP has fallen to, an anti-American standard bearer. The once reality TV star has gone on to become a propaganda tool of Russia. And he revels in it. He thinks it’s just swell. And you don’t hear anything from Republican leadership except crickets.

  1. Gosh. Was there any question after watching him suck off putin in Helsinki while throwing the US intelligence agencies under the bus? A cigarette & blindfold should be in his future but this candyass money corrupted nation coddles traitors. It throws black teenagers into jail as political prisoners for smoking weed based on a law put in place by another traitor president. Some country we got here.
