This story has gotten strange. It started a few weeks ago when the quintessential QAnon Karen was admitted to the ICU with COVID-19, unsurprisingly. Lin Wood and his allies kept bugging the hospital and demanding that Veronica Wolski be treated with Ivermectin. Of course, the Chicago doctors shined Wood and cohorts on. Now Wood has escalated his threats. This is unbelievable. This alone should get Wood disbarred.

At the very end it sounds like Wood has been hung up on, again. He complained weeks ago that the hospital people weren’t being nice to him. No wonder, he sounds like a crack pot. Anybody would hang up on him.
Here’s the woman in question. One thought occurs and I have no idea as the legality of it, but can’t the crazy lady check herself out AMA, against medical advice? Or that’s not even a possibility in an ICU? I have no idea.

Ain’t it grand believing in crazy CT? I’m going to be honest here and I don’t care how it sounds. I have no sympathy for this woman. None. If she’s in a hospital bed with oxygen, she put herself there. She had the same opportunities as the rest of us to get the shots, wear the masks, do the social distancing, all of it. I don’t feel that the reason I haven’t been stricken with COVID is due to blind luck, I believe it’s due to me following directions.
In the meantime, this woman is using medical resources and running up a bill and all this was preventable.
Maybe the insurance companies need to get involved. I am no defender of insurance companies but if all of them, including Medicare, lay down the law that anti-vaxxers won’t be treated because it’s their own recklessness that got them there, maybe that will wake people up.
Of course, to try to legislate that is going to really be something. But otherwise, we’re going to see our ICUs jammed and our hospitals choked with patients whose reckless disregard of reality got them infected with COVID and rendered useless for people with other urgent medical needs.
This is stupid. Even in 1918, in the last pandemic, people wore masks and there was none of this idiocy. There also was no right-wing media. Connect the dots.

The news is reporting that she died.
I’d allow anti-vaxxers to be treated, but only in tents and parking structures, as they’re endangering everyone else.
Put them at the back of the line. Everybody else gets treated before the anti’s.
We hear about Lin Wood once or twice a week, often thanks to Ursula, and when he’s featured we get to step into his batcrap crazy world for a few minutes.
But pause for a moment and take those disjointed instances and consider the bigger picture, what the entirety of his life must look like, zooming from place to place making insane claim after insane claim. It’s just 24/7 of stupid scary crazy…what a horrible and frightening life.
They existed, just w/o FaceBook and it’s ilk, it was harder to organize and they died at home.
I’ll bet Trump’s grandpa (who died of the Spanish flu) was an anti-masker back then.
