Nothing says you are taking your campaign advisor’s advice to lay off the personal attacks and produce more policy oriented arguments for them to highlight than to show up at a North Carolina rally with a regular box of Tic Tacs and its sampler-size companion and claim that the smaller one results from the inflation caused by the candidate you are no longer running against. Such are the struggles of drumpf’s unfortunate handlers as they strive to sculpt a winner from a demented, fetid, 6 ft. stack of steaming human garbage. Totally not sympathetic to the idiots who signed on to manage the unmanageable man-child in his quest to subvert our democratic order and who should have known from observation the full scope of the hopeless task they had taken on, Jimmy Fallon took to his stage last night to mercilessly mock their failed efforts:
“Donald Trump used some little props in a couple of speeches this week and it was too good of an opportunity for Jimmy Fallon to pass up.
In Asheville, North Carolina, on Wednesday, the former president gave what his team claimed would be an address focused on the economy. At one point, he attempted to visually demonstrate a concept by holding up a standard-sized box of Tic Tacs and another miniature packet of the breath mints.
“This is inflation,” he declared.
“This is Tic Tac,” he said wiggling the tiny box in the air. “This is Tic Tac,” he added, jiggling the other.
Fallon got a few jokes out of it on “The Tonight Show” Thursday.
“Then Trump said it’s very sad that China is spying on us through Tic Tac, we’ve got to ban Tic Tac,” the comedian cracked.
He continued, “Speaking of Trump, a new report found that his support among the white working class has shrunk significantly.”
“Basically, this is where he was,” he said, pulling out a larger box of white Tic Tacs, “and this is where he’s at,” he added, holding up a tiny one.“

That’s hilarious enough, but you might want to watch a bit past the moment Jimmy brandishes his Tic Tacs to the next part where he reveals drumpf’s plan to win back white working class voters…

I hope you, dear readers, can forgive me this moment of frivolity, but sometimes enjoying a good laugh is the best response to the absurdity and idiocy that is this time of Donald Trump.
And Fallon is among the best at eliciting that laughter.
