There are photo ops and then there is whatever the hell tastelessness that you’re about to see on the part of who else, Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump. They are Relevant People, doncha know, and they want you to know that they are plugged into the geopolitical scene as much as they are the Hollywood scene. Ivanka was seen twice in the past two months hanging out with Kim Kardashian, once in Beverly Hills, once in Las Vegas but now she’s put the glitter aside for a Serious Issue — well, one more serious than the opening of the Fountainbleu, it’s all relative, right?

Of course the big question is, “Why are they there?” The Wall Street Journal is quoting them as saying it’s “not political” but then again Daddy wants the world to know that he could work a better deal for Israel and Gaza then Joe Biden is. And the Journal cryptically notes, “Kushner has told friends he doesn’t plan to be part of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign for now.” “For now,” meaning right this instant and he could be on board the campaign an hour from now?

That’s a consideration. Netanyahu isn’t exactly handling this situation perfectly and it’s been said that there’s a growing rift between Biden and Netanyahu. So, yes, you do see where the dots begin to connect. Or, maybe Ivanka is over there to sell coffins. She did get a Chinese trademark for such, you do recall.

And where’s Ivanka’s guitar, inquiring minds want to know? She took her guitar to Ukraine, what, the Israelis don’t get to hear her music? Or, maybe she’s so embarrassed by his sister-in-law, Lara, that she doesn’t want to draw that kind of attention to herself right now.

A person familiar with Kushner and Ivanka Trump’s visit to Israel said the couple traveled to the country to show their support for its people, adding that the trip was in no way related to politics or former President Trump’s re-election bid.

The visit comes as Trump has pulled ahead of President Biden in a head-to-head test of the likely 2024 presidential matchup, according to a recent Wall Street Journal poll. Meanwhile, Biden is facing criticism from U.S. voters for his response to the war, according to another poll, which showed that 37% of those surveyed approved of Biden’s handling of the conflict, compared with 52% of people who disapproved. […]

Another Trump presidency presents a potential wild card for Israel. Trump in 2017 ordered the relocation of the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, recognizing it as the capital of Israel, a decision that was sharply criticized by Arab, Palestinian and European leaders who said it could hamper future peace negotiations.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the time praised the decision, yet relations between the two men have grown strained since. After his 2020 election loss, Trump chastised Netanyahu for congratulating Biden, even though the Israeli prime minister waited until after most other world leaders to do so.

More recently, Trump has faced criticism for remarks during a campaign speech in October, when he characterized the militant group Hezbollah as “very smart” and faulted Netanyahu over a 2020 mission that killed an Iranian military leader.

Among Israelis, meanwhile, Biden is more popular than Trump. The former president stirred anger in Israel after the Oct. 7 Hamas-led attack, which Israel says killed 1,200 people, most of them civilians, when he blamed Netanyahu for not being prepared and said that Israelis have “to strengthen themselves up.”

A survey released Thursday by the Israeli polling company Midgam showed that while supporters of Netanyahu’s coalition prefer Trump by a significant margin, 41% of overall Israeli voters prefer Biden—compared with 26% who favor Trump.

Here’s another angle.

Probably the truth lies somewhere in the middle of all of this, like a Venn diagram. You just need to see which circles overlap the most and where they all touch a bit, that’s the answer.

If it’s as simple as getting the Jews to vote for Daddy, I would rethink that posture. All I want to know is how Jared and Ivanka can benefit financially from all this and that will give us all the information we need. These two leopards aren’t changing their spots, this is about money. And don’t forget, Vladimir Putin isn’t too far removed from this flare up in the Middle East and that says a lot as well. Read this article, “Putin’s Fingerprints Are All Over the Hamas Attack.” It’s all related to the Kushners showing up today, we just need to figure out how.

Help keep the site running, consider supporting.

  1. I thought from the beginning that Putin was behind the attack. He’s been tied with Iran who supports Hamas. The attack has allowed the GOP congress critters to try and cut our support to Ukraine. This would very much benefit Putin.

  2. Your “… it’s been said that there’s a growing rift between Biden and Netanyahu …” … ” and because those two hideous Barbie dolls have popped up, like an unwelcome acne rash, then “… Probably the truth lies somewhere in the middle of all of this, like a Venn diagram …” as you put it. They’re there as opportunistic shite stirrers, doing daddy Don Don’s Machiavellian bidding, with the end result showing the world just how inept, self-centred, uncaring and lacking in both emotional intelligence and relationship intelligence. One, or many, are probably hoping and praying, on both sides of the current divide, that the earth opens up and swallows this tribe of open mouth bottom feeders.

    • You know, it might not have even been at diaper’s bidding. These two hucksters have been ignored by the media, their former friends, etc. since daddy lost his election. I cannot imagine two people (besides daddy) who need the limelight more than these two. I imagine they are wilting from the lack of that limelight and possibly likely to expire if they do not get back in it…and quickly.

one thing I would make book on: they could give a happy rat’s ass about the people of Israel or anywhere else. They care about themselves, their kids/family and nothing else. Most likely in that order given the level of grifting they have practiced over the years.
