It’s a sad world that we live in when some billionaire with a bent towards conspiracy theory (yes, I know, you’re wondering “which one?”) seeks to intimidate a man who served his country honorably and put himself at risk doing so. I doubt if that’s something Elon Musk would even understand. In all events, you are probably aware of Musk’s threat to Vindman about being held accountable for “treason.” Off the walls, yes, keeping in character with Musk, absolutely. Right wing madness? You got it.

Good for Vindman. He’s standing up for what’s right. Here’s the lesson in point to be learned. Let us learn it now, learn it well and never forget it: Evil never dies, it merely reinvents itself. Evil is in the ascendant sometimes, and in eclipse others. That’s why we have the illusion of having defeated evil. No. Evil is never defeated but it can and does go into remission when good people stand up to it and do what’s right.
That is the key: 1. Good people; 2. Standing up to evil; 3. Doing what is right. That’s the formula. That’s what makes evil cringe and retreat, like holy water on a vampire. Truth is cleansing. Truth is sunlight, which drives away lies.
We have a tough row to hoe ahead of us. Do we have as much courage as Alexander Vindman and many others that we can name? Probably few of us do on an individual level. But there is strength in numbers. Let’s rally behind this man and others like him. And let people like Musk expose themselves for the charlatans that they are.
The reality of this situation is that Trump and MAGA are going to peacock and strut until January 20. That’s a guarantee. Then we’ll see what happens. Will Karoline Leavitt be doing a Sean Spicer and reporting on “the biggest inauguration crowd in history?” Who knows? We won’t know until we get there.
But with the cabinet Trump has assembled so far, and how the wheels have already been coming off the wagon with some of his nominees, ala Matt Gaetz, and the rest needing Senate confirmations that may or may not be so easily forthcoming, it’s not going to be a home run with bases loaded like Trump seems to think.
That’s the hype. The reality is going to be something different altogether.
We have gone from “alternative facts” to outright lies with the tyrant and his gang of merry thieves. If the inauguration is the largest in the history of the world, it will be due to massive protests, but that will never be reported. If protests are to be held, I hope they are not that day so we do not give numbers for them to report as the tyrants fan club
As for muskrat: join BlueSky. You can get the very same clips, and more, since most large accounts have closed or are closing their accounts there. And you’re not helping muskrat nor getting so many nasty trolls. It’s truly blue skies there other than blocking and reporting a few magats. Also, I have no doubt that treason charges will be brought and a totally rigged trial will be held. Tyrant keeps hinting about shooting or hanging people for treason. You think he won’t??? If he can, he will, starting with our wonderful current president, President Biden. He WANTS to see death and destruction and a civil war. Look at how he watched in fascination over the violence on January 6th. He’s sick. But that’s also what his cult wants as well.

Musk displays every sign of a small, small man with an even teenier weenie. Not a shred of decency, honor, nor integrity. Believes only in the power of money to bully. Can’t stand the thought of a brave and honest man who takes his oath of service seriously.
