James Talerico has done the impossible, he flipped John Cornyn’s old Senate seat blue. Turning Texas blue has been the perennial dream of Democrats and we have lived to see it in our lifetimes. Annie Andrews has also pulled off a coup, knocking off nepo-baby Darline Graham. Yes, Lindsey is rolling in his grave.
That leaves ONE Senate seat and we control the Senate. We have not been this close in decades. Maybe we can pull it off.
I’ll tell you, I could sit with election news like this everyday. I keep saying sooooo far sooooo good but there is really no more succinct phrase which covers it.
This is much better news than the last election, looks like Senate will be 55 D at least, and R have lost Congress.
Both houses under clear Democratic, (in all senses of the word), control – and by enough that traitors like Fetterman will have no effect.
Well done all blue supporters!
