Yesterday saw quite the explosion from Trump on Truth Social. There’s a lot of Trump news out there (check out this CNN link) and none of it is good for Trump. It’s one “bigly” pile that’s built up over time and with each passing day grows bigger? Still, waking up and heading to PZ to see that by late last night Trump had racked up 102 posts on his platform was pretty startling. 102 tweets, or rather “Truthies” or TrumpTruths or whatever he wants to call them is eye popping. Something prompted it. Ursula is both smarter and a better writer than I am but I think a whole lot more than the emergence of “DeSantisexuals” prompted the whole thing.
The question is… What? As the link I provided shows the amount of legal truckloads of brown organic matter being dumped on Trump grows every day. One might credibly make the “straw that (finally) broke the camel’s back” argument and be well justified in doing so. However I think there’s a different, and uniquely Trumpian explanation. We’ve seen it multiple times: Trump learns not just that some really, REALLY bad news but that it’s about to become public soon – and he goes nuts on social media. Sure enough, not long after one of these explosions really bad news for/about Trump breaks.
I think that’s the case here. Trump has learned something, and not just bad (for him) news but HUGE bad news. “Game Changer” type news. Dare we hope “Game Over” news? Ok, so that’s hoping for too much. I’ll confess to having thought “THIS is it! The thing that will finally take Trump down only to have my hopes dashed. More than once in fact. I’ll bet you have too. Still, yesterday’s outburst was astonishing. To me at least it means Trump has gotten some type of news that he knows is going to go public soon. News that will really, truly damage him. What might it be? Well, I could speculate all day long on that one and so could you. I won’t be able to help myself, but I’m going to try and turn my attention to more specific things today and in whatever days we go through before we learn just what it is that set Trump off yesterday.
However I predict we are about to learn something epic. Trump of course knows what it is and that he’s powerless to stop it from coming out. Hence yesterday’s meltdown.

For the nonce, the Orange Pusillanimous Pant-load may not be in any judicial danger, but that allegorical noose is tightening! I have laid in shelf-stable snacks for the courtroom proceedings.
