Remember reading about Mt. Vesuvius going off and burying Pompeii? Remember about how people went there afterwards and the entire city was frozen in time under the dust? Dishes of food were still on tables, animals were out in the fields, clothing hung out to dry. It just occurred to me, what if something cataclysmic happened to our civilization and people coming in, say from some other world, would dig through the rubble and find this tape of Donald Trump? And then discover that this person actually was president of what used to be the greatest country on earth. What would they think?
If you close your eyes, it sounds like it's coming from this guy on the street corner: pic.twitter.com/bTJjMghdFO

The bottom image is who Trump really is. He’s that guy, just with a lot of money. Although not as much as he claims to have, but still far more than most human beings on this planet will ever see.
I guess Trump trashes the president of France during his speech. I missed that. I watched most of it. His repetitiveness gets to be a turnoff after a while, but it’s something new that he’s got it in for Emmanuel Macron — again. I don’t know what Macron did to annoy Trump when Trump’s not even in office anymore and just plays golf and goes to court. But evidently something.
What I would not give to be a fly on the wall and privy to what Macron and Justin Trudeau have said about Trump, when it’s just the two of them, kicking back and having a glass of wine. OMG. That would be priceless.
Macron has already looked ahead, as have many leaders in Europe, to the possibility that the American electorate goes insane once again and puts Trump back in office. That would be the death knell for America’s participation in NATO. And NATO nations are already thinking about all of this and gaming out scenarios.
Macron is used to being attacked by imbecile Trump. This is from 2018.
President Donald Trump, fresh off a tense visit to Paris, on Tuesday fired off a string of tweets attacking French President Emmanuel Macron for floating the idea of a self-reliant European military and the country’s wine tariffs, while accusing Macron of swiping at Trump’s nationalism to distract from his own shortcomings.
“Emmanuel Macron suggests building its own army to protect Europe against the U.S., China and Russia,” Trump began in his first tweet. “But it was Germany in World Wars One & Two – How did that work out for France? They were starting to learn German in Paris before the U.S. came along. Pay for NATO or not!”
MAKE FRANCE GREAT AGAIN!” the U.S. president wrote in a follow-up post to Twitter later Tuesday morning.
Trump’s Tuesday morning tweet was his second over the past five days that accused Macron of suggesting European nations need more robust militaries to protect themselves from the U.S., a mischaracterization of what the French president actually said. Macron, in an interview with Europe 1, suggested that Europe needs to better position itself militarily against an increasingly aggressive Russia.
That is the essence of it. Every country in the world knows what Russia is about. Even Trump knows, he just doesn’t care because he’s in Putin’s pocket.
“I believe in the project of a sovereign Europe. We won’t protect Europe if we don’t decide to have a true European army,” he [Macron] said. “We have to have a Europe that can defend itself alone — and without only relying on the United States — in a more sovereign manner.”
“We should protect ourselves when it comes to China, Russia and even the United States of America,” the French president also said, alluding to the decision to pull out of the missile treaty with Russia.
We are finished on the world stage if this lunatic gets back in power. It is as simple as that. France is traditionally one of our greatest allies. That a French president is talking this way is sobering in the extreme.

Finished on the world stage? Yeah, and just plain finished period. There will be nothing left of the United States of America. What was held off in the mid 1800’s will be completed in 2025 although I seriously doubt it will be a country split in two-more likely it will be a split into several different sovereign areas. It will leave us open to invasion from other countries (russia comes immediately to mind). I’m not so sure this won’t eventually happen even if dingle berry doesn’t get back into the w.h. I do not see how you come back from the dysfunction this country has been suffering for years. Too many of our citizens want the whole thing blown up completely. Not sure how or if those minds can be changed and since there are over 70 million of them we’re probably screwed.
I think Trump’s problem with Macron and Trudeau is more down to jealousy – after all, Melonhead did seem to flirt with them (and they’re both better looking than he is)
