Really. Why doesn’t isn’t this what pundits are flat-out saying every day, hour after hour? By his own standards Trump promotes “poison blooded” immigrants and even creates children with said “poison blood.” Two of his three trophy wives aren’t just naturalized U.S. citizens, they became so well into adulthood and because they happened to be Trump trophy wives. They were immigrants! Therefore as I said by definition their blood is pure poison to America. Since Trump rails against “immigrants having children in the U.S. providing them citizenship at birth” the children of immigrants  have blood poisoning our country too!

Naturally, Trump doesn’t believe that if HE finds some immigrant woman “hot”, enough to become a trophy wife he doesn’t see one drop of “poison blood in them. His kids? Well, I’m guessing the jury is out on Barron. If Melania decides to cash in, divorce Trump and move to Europe with Barron Trump will consider him to have “poison blood.” Melania too now that I think about it.

Well, if not enough are at least some DC types are speaking out about this new Trump rhetoric. A headline from an article in The Messenger that references bi-partisan disgust put’s it well: “I guess his children are poisoned.”

At a time when negotiations are going on to work out some kind of deal on border security the escalation in Trump’s rhetoric at his NH rally doesn’t help. Then again, ranting about how “immigrants are poisoning the blood of our country'” might have been a tactic to prevent any type of compromise. After all, reducing the intensity of people crossing our southern border helps Biden and hurts Trump. Still, Senators at least (the House fled DC already) are taking shots at Trump:

“Considering that two of his wives are immigrants, I guess his children are poisoned,” Sen. Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii, told The Messenger, when asked about Trump’s remark about immigrants “poisoning the blood” of America. (Ivana Trump, the former president’s late ex-wife, was born in what was then Czechoslovakia. Former first lady Melania Trump was born in the former Yugoslavia.)

Yertle, aka Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was less direct but still delivered a pointed jab back at Trump. His wife, Elaine Chow moved her when her parents did. She was only eight years old. Given she was in Trump’s cabinet (Secretary of Transportation) it was an easy shot:

“Well, it strikes me that didn’t bother him when he appointed Elaine Chao as secretary of transportation,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., quipped when asked about Trump’s comments on Tuesday.

Others on both sides of the aisle weighed in with clear criticism of Trump’s rhetoric. Good. Still, while Fox will let Trump get away with his hypocrisy it doesn’t mean other news outlets should. Shout the question at Trump. Ask his three spawn from his marriage to trophy wife #1 (Ivanna – mother of Don Jr. Eric and wannabe princess Ivanka) if since they are children of an immigrant their blood is poison. Remind them their effing FATHER says so! Oh, and helpfully point out his grandad immigrated here illegally!

  1. I don’t think people of European ancestry count as “poisoned.” Remember when he had a leading figure from one of the Scandinavian countries and he said “we need more people like you”?

  2. Well, let’s not forget that Donald himself is part of that “poisoned blood”–he’s just 2 generations removed since his grandfather immigrated from what’s now Germany (specifically, “Friedrich” Trump was born in the Kingdom of Bavaria’s Palatinate region–an area located east of Saarland and just to the north of the Alsace region of France, rather than Bavaria proper which is largely contiguous with the modern German State of Bavaria).

But, yeah, as Cherl and Michael have noted, Trump doesn’t care about European immigrants (the whiter the better); his “poison” is most certainly code for “African, Asian and Latin American” (and the mother-fudging Cubans in South Florida don’t realize that they are included in the “poison” bunch–it’s just that the Cubans have always had a “privileged” time when it comes to entering this country without going through official channels).

      • Oh and I forgot to mention the fact that Grandpa Friedrich actually had his Bavarian citizenship revoked (he was a draft dodger who went to the US, ran a brothel and then tried to go home – only to be told ‘Verpiss Dich’)
