Interesting how the small aftershocks still go out from the seismic event which was the unanimous guilty verdict read into the record in Manhattan on May 30 in the People v. Donald John Trump. The convicted felon used to have a concealed carry permit. He’d had it for over a decade. So evidently Trump got it when he decided to go into politics. Frankly, I’m surprised that Trump hasn’t shot his foot off. Maybe this is one more reason Melania sleeps in another room, if that lunatic had three guns, as reported here.
Following Donald Trump’s conviction on 34 felony charges in his election interference trial, CNN is now reporting that the New York Police Department will likely move to revoke Donald Trump’s concealed carry permit.
Previously, Trump had a concealed carry permit in New York for over one decade, owning at least three guns. Two of the three guns were turned over to authorities after Trump’s license was suspended by authorities in 2023, but one was transferred to Florida after Trump moved his state of residence from New York to Florida.
Now that Trump is a convicted felon, there are several restrictions that Trump will now face, including possible federal charges associated with being a felon in possession of a firearm.
According to the CNN report, the NYPD will soon open an investigation into the issue and will likely move to revoke Trump’s license. After such a decision is made, Trump will have the opportunity to request a hearing to adjudicate the merits of the decision, but such an attempt will likely fail.
I can’t see Trump handling a gun, but that’s probably because when I owned a gun I was a responsible gun owner and I knew other responsible gun owners. I was trained in how to care for and fire a gun at a local gun range back in the 90’s. My instructor was a retired L.A.P.D. detective. He was a very even tempered, laid back guy. Everybody who worked at that gun range was that way. You don’t have wild eyed crazies at professional gun ranges.
So that’s the only exposure I have to the world of shooting and guns, was reponsible people and responsible gun ranges. Maybe Trump would take his piece out to the range and shoot but again, I have a problem with the image. I can’t see him being responsible with anything, a firearm included.
So it won’t be any great loss to Trump, he’s got plenty of armed Secret Service agents with him at all times. And it may actually be a boon to gun safety, and an extra boon to Mar-a-Lago denizens, if Trump doesn’t have a piece. As emotionally unstable as he is, who knows? He might stop throwing the ketchup bottles and start shooting them instead.
Let’s look at the bright side…maybe it would give him an opportunity to leave is serious jail time is coming. HOWEVER, being a narcissist, he would more likely commit a mass murder before he’d turn it on himself…

CONVICTED FELON DON VON SHITZINPANTS claims to know everything, so I very much doubt that he has ever had any gun safety training. When I was a kid, my father taught me gun safety, and how to shoot responsibly. I have owned guns in the past, though all I have are pellet guns now.
Isn’t this what Hunter Biden is in court for: owning a handgun illegally because of his past (but not necessarily concurrent) drug use? If tRump purchased the handguns a decade ago, he owned them while he was committing felony crimes to silence a porn star who might ruin his chances of being elected as president. So…can tRump be charged with THAT TOO???
