Trump’s Chick-Fil-A Photo Op Staged By Activist He Hugged

If you don’t pay attention to RWNJ news you might not know Fox and others went to great effort to make a “spontaneous” visit to an Atlanta Chick-Fil-A this past Wednesday be an “organic” event. Just a spur of the moment thing and all the staff and guests were “shocked, shocked I say!” to suddenly see the President. Who ordered 30 milkshakes…and some chicken. (He prefers his fast food fare to be hamberders as you know) Well, I’m sure  you won’t be the least bit surprised to learn the “drop in” was anything but. That young black woman Trump hugged? SHE put the whole thing together. In fact she’s a Republican activist and political worker in Georgia!

I saw a tweet about this in my inbox and went to twitter/X to check it out. It’s on a site the reposts article from progressive outlets and blogs (including Politizoom) but I also looked for more neutral reporting.  A quick search turned up stories from mainstream outlets not part of the MAGAverse such as this one from The Associated Press. Sure enough what the guy the tweeted video said was true. Trump’s fangirl who is is tons of pictures hugging Trump is in fact a GOP activist. Michaelah Montgomery is the name of the woman who staged the event, and is the one hugging Trump in all those pictures and videos conservatives are pumping out.  So who is she? From the AP:

Montgomery, a former Georgia Republican Party staffer who regularly coordinates events for HBCU students open to conservative ideas to meet with politicians and activists, said she was notified earlier in the week that Trump would visit Atlanta’s Vine City neighborhood during his trip to host a high-dollar fundraiser in the city. She notified a private group chat of students she uses to coordinate events and job opportunities about the president’s visit. She received immediate interest in appearing alongside him from around a dozen students.

So much for this being a sudden, “organic” (as the RWNJs keep calling it) event. Trump’s attempt to order should have been a dead giveaway. The business starting off with milkshakes for example. Not I believe that franchises thing. I believe the pride themselves on their tea and lemonade. (Maybe Trump was flashing back to DQ and not knowing about Blizzards) Also, the “and some chicken” was a clue. You’d think an aide would have whispered to him going in this wasn’t KFC, or even BoJangles where pieces of chicken, breasts, drumpsticks, wings were the main fair but rather THIS chain was known for it’s chicken sandwiches! Or maybe Trump’s mind is so shot he forgot a tip mentioned to him only minutes before.

In any case those black folks close to Trump were recruited to be there (and no doubt screened by Trump’s Secret Service detail ahead of time) and in fact had arrived well before Trump did. They just hung out and waited for him to show. As for the workers who didn’t seem all that surprised in video clips or anyone else keep in mind before Trump’s vehicle pulled up his security would have been in there doing a sweep of the place!

But for conservative media and pundits this is true “off the cuff” proof Trump is a regular guy. A man of the people, and especially black folks. I’d be willing to bet his mind recalled a racist trope about “they love their chicken” and hoping on one would hand him a piece of watermelon.  What’s more, he was on his way from meeting one group of rich people to meeting a second group of rich people to raise money!

Well, it’s outrageous but it’s classic Trump. And people out there will fall for this bullshit. If you want a really good takedown of this event check out the tweet that prompted me to write this:

It’s a helluva night when this is the thing that stands out.  I look across the room at pictures of my “boys” (my two cocker spaniels who crossed the Rainbow Bridge oh so long ago) and sure could use at least one of them sitting next to me on the couch right now.
