Vice President and soon to be Democratic Nominee Kamala Harris has pretty much been defining the terms of the contest between her and Trump ever since the day President Joe Biden announced his withdrawal. From the beginning she’s pointed out her extensive experience as a prosecutor, and outlined several categories of crimes we know Trump has committed. I loved how she’d close those segments saying ‘I know Trump’s type.’ The Harris campaign’s messaging since, helped by others is painting a ‘Prosecutor vs Felon” as a key theme. Trump is now openly complaining it’s not FAIR! I’m getting Harry Truman vibes here. You know, when on his famous whistle-stop tour someone called out to Truman “Give em Hell Harry!” and Truman instantly replied “I just tell the truth on them. And they THINK it’s hell.”
Kamala Harris is out there, using the kind of precise talk a prosecutor in court uses telling the truth on Trump. You know what. He DOES feel like he’s in hell. Harris keeps spanking him with a flaming paddle Satan dropped somewhere when he was up here stealing souls and smacking Trump’s fat orange ass with it. Over and over. No wonder, as this article from Business Insider indicates he’s feeling major butt-hurt and lashing out! It notes a new legal filing from Trump, ironically in the CRIMINAL case where he was found guilty by a jury on all 34 counts. (in other words he is in fact a convicted felon now) The linked article makes several points:
- In a new legal filing, Trump complains about Kamala Harris’s “prosecutor vs. felon” taunts.
- Trump also complains that his hush-money judge’s daughter worked as a consultant for Harris.
- Trump is making his 3rd try at asking the judge to recuse himself.
He also complains about his gag order and Business Insider notes the New York Court of Appeals turned him down so it’s still in force. They straightforwardly note that Harris’ ‘Prosecutor vs. Felon’ seems to have touched a nerve with Trump. Gee, ya think? The article goes on to say:
Such framing is “false” and “inaccurate,” according to a new defense filing that asks the judge in his hush-money case to voluntarily step down prior to a pending sentencing that Trump has also challenged.
“Harris immediately framed her candidacy with a specific false reference to this case as a contest of ‘prosecutor vs. convicted felon,'” Trump’s filing complains.
Harris’s framing is an “inaccurate attack,” it adds, without describing an inaccuracy. Harris is the former district attorney for San Francisco and attorney general for California; in May, Trump became the first former president convicted of a felony.
I like that last part. The part about how the filing doesn’t explain any actual inaccuracies in Harris’ messaging. She IS a former prosecutor and Trump IS a convicted felon! And as I said earlier he’s also been deemed guilty in court of sexual assault and business fraud. Those last two were civil cases but the penalties assessed against Trump in the two cases combined are upwards of 550 MILLION dollars. He’s on the hook for well over a half billion after those court losses and legal experts say he faces an uphill battle into a fierce win to prevail on appeal.
The truth as we all know hurts sometimes. In fact it can be downright painful. Just keep in mind that for all his whining and complaining one thing we haven’t heard from Trump, something he threatens as naturally as taking a dump in his fake gold toilet is his intent to SUE Harris. Hey, he’s already being drowned in legal bills! Anyway I find it funny that Trump has made another bogus legal filing. For all his bluster he doesn’t have a leg to stand on to complain in court about the whole ‘Prosecutor vs. Felon’ thing because it is precise and accurate. Harris is (or was) an actual prosecutor who won convictions in court, and Trump lost a criminal case in court and is now a convicted felon.
As the Prosecutor says to begin and end his opening statement in A Few Good Men, ‘These are the facts of the case. And they are undisputed.’

“Just the facts, ma’am”
So it’s just fact.
He’s always been a whiny little coward protected by riches and a politicized legal system that punishes the poor and protects the rich. As the sixties song says…those were the days my friend, we thought they’d never end. He’s Icarus, wearing makeup, a girdle, shoe lifts, and Depends. His wings are fake news!
“The truth as we all know hurts sometimes. ”
Having to face the truth is a new experience for Trump. He’s still resisting, but it’s not going away.
You made me think of the saying ‘the thing about science is it’s true whether you believe it or not.’ The same thing applies to the truth – it’s the truth whether a person believes/accepts it or not. With either one, one thing that in my now fairly long life is how hard, even fiercely some people will go to deny clear scientific fact or the truth. Look, we’ve all had moments where we said to ourselves ‘that can’t be right, are you SURE?’ But we come around, if sometimes grudgingly. Who likes to admit they’re wrong? Not many, and I’ll be the first to admit sometimes I’ve experienced the kind of ‘how could I have been so stupid as to believe what I did and worse, resist changing my mind?” feeling.
In the end though scientific facts are scientific facts. The truth. So are truths that aren’t proven by the traditional scientific method of controlled experiments. One can accept the truth or reject it. If sometimes that latter wasn’t so dangerous to themselves (i.e. Trump said I can keep from getting that COVID stuff by drinking some bleach or eating horse dewormer paste) or others the antics and batshit insane people engage in to avoid admitting the truth can actually be entertaining.
Try telling Southerners the simple truth that they lost the Civil.War. Pointing out that when your general surrenders and the senior officials in your cover are tossed into jail as traitors, that to sane people that means you lost. I had several.tell.me, the South didn’t lose. Had to wonder if we needed to toss antipsychotic meds in the water supply.
If he didn’t like the courtroom and the convictions, he shouldn’t have done the criming.
If he doesn’t like what his political opponent says, he should get out of politics.
political candidates have enormous leeway in their stump speeches. he has no legal leg to stand on.
von shitzinpants is bitching and whining again. Must another day ending with “y”. The day he stops his incessant whining is the day he will need to be wrapped in his shroud.
