It is critical that one stays wholly away from what can seem like very tempting conspiracy theories, whether they are the tired 9-11 variety, Bill Gates and vaccines, or even the latest Right-Wing Xitter accounts that say Israel or “the Jews” were involved in the tragic killing of Charlie Kirk. Disregarding rabbit holes is taken as nearly a given to educated people everywhere. But when one loses nearly all faith in the FBI and weird things start happening, weird things that feed a narrative that MAGA wholly embraces, it is very hard to have faith that one is receiving “the truth” in any of this. Such it is with the killing at ICE yesterday (One immigrant killed, two shot), whereby we saw a ready-made engraving in protest of ICE and yet – strangely, no ICE agents harmed, only immigrants. Now Trump seems to want action. Again.
It is enough for Trump to nearly declare war with the Left as he did just today (moments ago as of this writing) with the full assumption that his supporters are victims that may now be wholly justified waging war “back” – again, that’s awfully convenient given what we know about Trump and the express threats that he’s made in the past.

Actually, most of us believe that “radicals” without regard to “side” are the ones causing the problems, and they are up against the “sane” who believe that whatever is happening in our country is best addressed with protests and democratic pushback. But be assured, at least if Xitter is to be believed, there are far more radicals on the Right than on the left. Which brings us back to whether the FBI can really be believed.
Careful, rabbit hole.
Because Trump is one of those radicals. Look what he’s promised – “It’s going to go back on them” and it’ll be “worse” when “bad things” happen because the right is “a lot tougher.” He is essentially green-lighting his own MAGAs to “get tough” because it’s just action going back against a fight, but go harder. This is obviously dangerous in any context but look at the lawlessness we’ve already seen, Trump pardoning all those who fought for him on January 6th, ignoring his own Border Czar Tom Homan accepting $50,000 in a bag of cash (People don’t just give out cash in bags, they expect a return), or the promise to prosecute Jim Comey, and so much more; the breakdown between Trump support versus anyone else leads to the natural conclusion that Trump will actually bless violence against the Left.
Given the reality, one doesn’t have to be a conspiracy theorist to wonder. He so desperately wants a “fight,” is it possible that FBI agents actually engraved the bullets themselves, and the guy just happened to be the worst shot ever – killing immigrants, not ICE? It makes even more sense when one sees a president all but giving permission to his supporters to get tough and start attacking. That and the fact that the podcaster now leading the FBI had pictures of the engraving out only hours after the shooting. Why?
Very hard to tell, and there is the temptation to think that they’re now simply creating their own narrative, engraving bullets themselves, no matter who was actually killed. But it is easy to surmise that Trump has set the predicate for violent attacks on the Left, with very little assurance that they’ll be taken seriously and ended. It leaves one to wonder. If there were a very serious shooting of “leftists,” would Trump simply declare that his people are fighting back and not look to prosecute? It is actually almost conceivable.
It is just so damned dangerous. He all but declared war.

First thing I noticed was the reporter framed the question with an assumption: “uptake in left wing violence?”
Why would MAGA mistrust the FBI when Trump’s hand picked Kash is in charge?
Lastly, they (or at least Trump) assumes the right is tougher than the left.

Yeah. I’ve been thinking along the same lines as you Jason. It’s pretty hard to trust anything Patel’s FBI puts out, which is sad and scary. The narrative just seems to fit too nicely into Trump’s agenda, which appears to be a civil war.
It’s not such a great stretch to think that the FBI would plant evidence these days, why not? Who’s stopping them?
