Yesterday was a red-letter day in the continuing de-evolution of the GOP from merely irrational and irritating to full-blown lunacy. In the afternoon it was revealed that the Republican candidate for governor of North Carolina once characterized himself in a Chatroom of a porn forum as a “black Nazi” and, his history of gay bashing aside, a devotee of transgender porn. Never one to be out-paced in the race to be the most disturbed individual in American Politics, Donald Trump then took to the stage of the Israeli-American Council in Washington D.C. to try to bully Jewish voters into casting their ballots for him, threatening the destruction of Israel within two years if they don’t.

You really couldn’t make this stuff up, folks.

“During his speech at an antisemitism event in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, former President Donald Trump pledged to be the “defender” of Jewish Americans if he wins but also seemed to suggest that if he loses the election, it will be their fault.

“My promise to Jewish Americans is this: With your vote, I will be your defender, your protector, and I will be the best friend Jewish Americans have ever had in the White House,” Trump said.”

Now that is really rich. If and when Trump loses, it will not be because he ran an abysmal campaign with exactly zero outreach to sane voters, but it will be all “their” fault.

Preemptive scape-goating…

“”I’m at 40%; that means you got 60% voting for somebody that hates Israel,” Trump said, alluding to the vice president. “It’s only because the Democrat[s] hold a curse on you. You can’t let this happen. 40% is not acceptable because we have an election to win.”

“I’ll put it to you very simply and as gently as I can, I wasn’t treated properly by the voters who happen to be Jewish,” he said. “I don’t know. Do they know what the hell is happening if I don’t win this election and the Jewish people would really have a lot to do with that if that happens because, at 40%, that means 60% of the people are voting for the enemy. Israel, in my opinion, will cease to exist within two years, and I believe I’m 100%,” said Trump as the crowd appeared to chat among themselves.“

Trump also confided that, during one of his fever dreams he had seen New York Senator Chuck Schumer wearing a “Palestenian Robe”.

Jesus. Schumer probably wears his suit to bed.

Trump can never be to blame for anything, so it has to be someone else’s fault…

    • Well, we’re smart enough to make good and damned sure we won’t be marched off anywhere ever again-it’s why so many of are VERY well armed. Someone needs to clue the old, fat man of this little fact. If his hate speech makes my life more difficult, he is in for a world of humiliation to start with.

      The sooner this dumb mother-fucker is off the world stage the better the country as a whole will look.

  4. Trump’s comments have zero to do with votes in an election! His entire body of nasty work right now is aimed at recruitment of Brownshirts and Trumpen-juden! He isn’t asking for votes…he is identifying targets and giving permission to put on your jackboots, pull your neighbors out of their homes, beat them to death in the streets, scream at the witnesses that they are next, steal the possessions of the dead, and go home to rest up for the next attack of anybody you believe to be the other!     • Cherl, Israel does need U.S. help what with it being surrounded by countries who declare themselves enemies of Israel on a daily basis. Bibi is not helping matters either and is likely the chief cause of all of Israel’s current crop of problems. But, it’s done it on its’ own before and perhaps could do it again. I’d hate to see it because I suspect places like Iran will become toxic craters in short order. At the very least the entire region will become so destabilized, we will be mere inches from a war our planet probably won’t recover from. Suffice to say don-old is not helping.

  6. Jews are about 2% of the American population. That’s very few votes in the scheme of things, and Trump’s bullying isn’t moving a single one.

    American Jews have the same priorities as any other Americans. When Trump talks endlessly about Israel, he raises the slander about dual loyalty. Netanyahu has done a brilliant job of driving a wedge between American Jews and Israel, and Trump is too dumb to see it.

    The memory of Charlottesville is alive and well. At the moment, the number one priority of two-thirds of American Jews is making the White House a Trump-free zone.

    • Why don’t people get the connection? Hitler told Germany that the Jews were the cause for the state Germany was in. Now Trump tells them it’s going to be your fault if I lose. And the state of Israel and the United States will collapse and cease to exist and that’s going to be all your fault because you didn’t vote for me and treat me right. This is scary stuff people it can’t be taken lightly . It may be the ranting of a lunatic but never forget what happened the first time. If Trump wins and feels the Jewish people didn’t treat him right might there be another great solution ? A mass extermination? Don’t ever think he wouldn’t do it.
