I wrote a day or so ago that Trump was a political imbecile because he wasted months of being able to bleed his Leadership PAC account for legal expenses by announcing for President too early, and losing control of the account. The funny thing is that the slippery little shit found a way around it. But the funnier thing is that it only makes things worse.

It’s hard to overestimate the drain that Trump’s increasing legal problems are having on his cash flow, even if he is forcing the RNC to pitch in and tithe. Just a brief overview;

  • Trump has a team dealing with the upcoming Letitia James NY ag civil lawsuit claiming Trump’s company is a criminal organization
  • Trump has another team dealing with his upcoming March criminal trial from the Manhattan DA’s office for breaking state law to pay off Storm Daniels for a bit of the strange, while Melania was nursing Bannon
  • His Lowness has yet another Motley Crew dealing with the federal Florida indictments dealing with his grand theft of classified documents case
  • There’s another rogues gallery trying to deal with the exploding J6 federal investigation about to indict Trump for the 3rd time in less than 8 months
  • He also has another cadre of ambulance chasers in Atlanta trying to fend off Fulton County DA Fani Willis with her two year vote fraud RICO case in Georgia, which reporting shows will blow up in Traitor Tot’s face in the next two weeks

But here’s the McGuffin. Because El Pendejo Presidente is such a notorious legal deadbeat when it comes to paying his legal fees, almost all, if not all of these lawyers have placed him on a pay as you go plan, with hefty retainers if he wants them to keep spewing out insane sh*t in court.

But wait! There’s More! The old saying is to Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. Right now there is a whole army of Trump former employees, administration officials, and cronies that are all under full federal scrutiny. He can’t afford hostile witnesses right now. Or ever. The solution? Pay for their lawyers. Right now both Walt Nauta as well as the newest Trump co-defendant Carlos DeOlivera are both having their lawyers paid for by FrankenTrump. Good luck trying to cut a deal with the feds there guys, especially since it’s my impression that both men are being represented by the same Trump lawyer. And there are other loose lips out there in Trumpland that are still of interest, and therefore covered by Trump mouthpieces.

Which is where Trump got tricky in his self preservation. As I wrote, Trump’s Leadership PAC can’t pay his legal bills while he’s a declared candidate, but it can pay the legal bills for the other miscreants. The Leadership PAC has already admitted that it is committed to covering the legal fees for those people.

Which is an incredible drain on resources. Trump is already paying out. And Trump is already paying out of pocket, or at least out of his general campaign fund for his legal fees. Remember, the latest Trump disclosure is that campaign donations are being sent $0.50 on the dollar to Trump’s defense fund. The GOP is being required to pitch in. But the GOP big money donors are sitting on their wallets as long as Trump is on the ballot. Which means the RNC is dependent on small money donors, all of whom Trump has locked up. And Trump sure as sh*t isn’t going to be sending out any text or e-mail blasts for his Leadership PAC when he needs the money for his defense fund. Which means that the PAC is spending on Trump legal fees for flunkies with no new revenue generated.

I have long and often said that the GOP and the RNC are now a morally bankrupt party. But it never occurred to me that by the time the 2024 general election season draws to a close, and all of Trump’s trials end, the GOP and the RNC might literally be a legally bankrupt party. Don’t touch that dial.

  1. Your “… by the time the 2024 general election season draws to a close, and all of Trump’s trials end, the GOP and the RNC might literally be a legally bankrupt party …” makes one wonder if there was consent in advance, to their self inflicted loss.

  2. They deserve to disappear forever, but, as we know, even the sacrifice of 400,000 boys didn’t eliminate the nazis. Over 100 of OUR REPRESENTATIVES in the nazi party…er…republican party voted FOR THE OVERTHROW of the very government they took an oath to uphold. Truthfully they deserved to be hanged for treason. If Washington were president still, given his temperament, they would be.

      Works for me!!!

  3. True Walter. Anyone who confuses fervent adoration with truth or morality should watch those rallies in Nuremberg. Forty thousand nazis saluting their cult leader in unison. Impressive but Evil!!!!
