What is it with this guy? He seriously does not know even the basics about his own flesh and blood, his youngest son? Or, is he lying with intent? Last week it was quite the to-do when Donald Trump went on an interview with Telemundo and was heard saying that his son, Barron, was 17. No, he’s not. He turned 18 in March. Then just last night in Minnesota, Trump did it again. Same thing. Except the statistic he got wrong this time was the kid’s height. And there is a reason he would lie about that, and that’s to make himself look good.

If Trump lies that Barron is 6'9" then it helps boost his own lie of being 6'3". I think Trump's 5'11" maybe. That's it. He's no 6'3".

Melania also lies about her height. If you Google her height it says 5’11.” In 5-inch stiletto heels, yes. She may be 5’11” which would make her 5’6″ in bare feet. But there is no way she’s 5’11” otherwise, because then she would be 6’4″ in her stiletto’s and tower over Trump and be just a few inches shorter than her son, whatever height he’s claiming to be. And that is simply not the case.
Plus, if you look at photos of Melania next to the Obamas, she’s a few inches shorter than they are, and Michelle is legitimately 5’11”, Barack is 6’2″. For formal occasions Michelle probably wears a slight pump, maybe 1.5 inches. That’s one of the reasons the MAGA Neanderthals give her a hard time and claim she’s a “man” is because of her height. Truth be known, with Michelle’s height, if she wanted to get all the cosmetic work done that Melania has, she stands the better chance of being a supermodel. That’s how it is in that world. Verushka is 6’4″ Naomi Campbell is 5’10”, Paulina Poriskova is 5’11”. Melania Trump can lie from now until doomsday, she’s 5’6″.
Well, I guess we wait for the Washington Post to log this latest Trump lie in. Unless they’ve stopped or their computers have simply collapsed from overwork. The Post recorded over 30,000 lies when Trump was in office and I honestly don’t know if they’ve kept track of his lies in the years he’s been out of office. But this is a four-Pinocchio whopper.
And think of what this does to Barron. Unless he is unconscious and has no idea what his parents tell the rest of the world, he’s got to know that his mother does not speak German, Italian, French, Serbian or whatever, only Slovenian and pidgeon English. He’s got to know she’s not 5’11” like it says on Google.
He’s got to know what the real relationship is between his parents, that they live in separate parts of Mar-a-Lago, how often they actually do meet up and interact. So what is he to think of all this?
It’s not good for a kid to be raised in a family of lies. There are only a couple of alternatives for a kid raised in a family like that: 1. You rebel and become an honest, truth telling person. 2. You go along with the lies and become a liar yourself.
Mary Trump says that Donald Jr. did the latter. He never became his own person, he went along with his father’s lies for money, power and an easy life. And look at the mess he is today. Same with Eric. Worse, Eric seems to believe the lies. That shows you his level of brainlessness.
And then Princess Ivanka has withdrawn for her own good. She’s got her own money and Jared is loaded, so expect those two to look out for themselves. Although there is zero question in my mind but that if Trump got reelected, they would both be on the transition team faster than you could crack open a cyanide capsule. There is no honor among thieves. Once the thieving game looks good, look for all the parasites to return, just like the swallows to Capistrano.
Barron’s only chance at any kind of a sane or decent life is to put as much distance between himself and his father as possible, and don’t look back.

Wow. Great quote, thank you. The truth isn’t in Trump, either. My sense of things is that Trump began lying and playing big shot early on, as a means to cope with feelings of inadequacy due to a cruel father and an absentee mother.
I am trying to figure out this fixation, from either side, about a human’s height. Who gives a happy rat’s ass? It’s stupidity on trump’s part but we’ve come to expect moronic things to exit his pie hole but does everyone have to play this asinine game? Yeah, I suppose the media must because lord knows there isn’t anything more important to report than whether some kid is six feet what-the-f*ck ever. Or is there? hmmmmmm…

Oh, and trump is approaching 80 years old and feelings of inadequacy, while perhaps having a start in parental short-comings, are something intelligent people grow out of or get into therapy to find their way out of so we should not try to find excuses for his piss-poor actions/statements but rather call them out as childish rants ill-becoming an almost 80 year old man.
I don’t understand the obsession with height, either. On Melania’s part it makes a bit of sense, because height is a factor in success in that business. Just like in basketball, height does matter. But as to Trump, I don’t have a clue, except that like everything else, he has to be more. He’s already above average height even if he’s 5’10 or 5’11, which is what people speculate is the truth. But that’s not good enough, he has to add on another five inches because that’s who he is.
According to statistics, the taller candidate tends to win. America equates height with strength and madculinity. Think John Wayne.

I think you nailed the origin of this monster. As Samuel Johnson wrote: men become monsters to avoid the pain of being human. You’d made a good psychiatrist although the best will admit you can’t fix a malignant narcissist.
I also grew up in a family of lies and so I know whereof I speak. You either go along with the lie and be a liar yourself or you extricate yourself and tell the truth. I’m brutally honest. I have pissed off nice people over the years, not even intending to, by being so honest. But better that than to live a lie. And people who genuinely like me like my honesty and that’s encouraging.
So that’s Barron’s choice now. And Daddy’s holding the purse strings, so I imagine that must be compelling. If my troubled family had been rich, instead of poor, I’m sure I would have had to deal with that as well, the blackmail aspects of behavior. You do what Daddy wants or he cuts you off.
Maybe Barron will be the next Don Junior. There is that possibility.
The only good thing Melania has done is keep.Barron as far away from the press and Daddy Dearest as possible. Barron apparently wants to go to.NYU so it is likely he may be able to.build a life away from his family. I wouldn’t be surprised if Malaria dumps Don, takes the money, buys a ridiculously overpriced condo someplace not owned by Trump, and spend her remaining years hanging out with second tier socialites. Maybe Barron will major in something other than business and have a decent money fully life.
I would give anything to know why that Daily Mail story ran on Barron going into politics and then two days later WHAM! Melania brings down the hammer. There’s some story there.
