Neener neener is a childish taunt or jeer pronounced with a nasal sneer. It is used for intentionally annoying or upsetting someone, especially when something bad has happened to them or when you have been proved right about something. It is an expresion of mockery, and the American pronunciation of traditional English “Nyah-Nyah”.
Seems exactly like Trump doesn’t it? Kindergarten mentality from a sandbox bully who only gets away with being a bully because his dad pretty much owns the town and can ruin the lives of the other kid’s families. That my friends is what our country has been reduced to – a bully who has been pampered and indulged his whole life, someone who wouldn’t be jack-shit had he not been born to a wealthy and successful father (a real a-hole but a wealthy and successful one) somehow elbowed his way into the WH. He never wanted the job (hell, he was stunned when he got just a taste of what it actually entailed!) but just the perks that went with it. And the glory. He had visions of the entire country becoming one big MAGA rally.
The only problem was he got foreign help to win. In fact, if not for a Constitutional quirk he’d previously spoken negatively about (the Electoral College) he wouldn’t have become President after all. Then he suffered through the humiliation of an inaugural crowd he could see barely filled half the mall, and a fairly empty parade route back to the WH. Where were all the screaming MAGAs? Well, he shortly afterwards DID see the streets of DC filled! Millions of people in DC and major cities and even small towns across the country and around the world. NOT celebrating HIM, but instead PROTESTING him!
So yeah, Trump got off to a bad start and it only got worse. He didn’t have a clue WTF he was doing or even supposed to be doing and was too stupid and gullible to realize foreign leaders were playing him for a fool with nothing more than typical diplomatic niceties with sometimes a bit of flattery thrown in. Even Republicans in Congress had little use for him. As long as he kept appointing the extreme judges & Justices they wanted and encouraged his Cabinet to gut any regulation they could find, and helped them pass another tax cut for the rich they didn’t care what else he did.
Trump’s fee-fees got butt-hurt plenty of times during his Presidency but he still got to enjoy a lot of the “cool stuff.” So much so that the thought of losing it really worried him. Not that he’d admit it except sometimes in the middle of the night when he simply couldn’t fight off reality but he knew he could be in a fight for re-election. Especially if ONE person were to emerge as the Democratic nominee. Trump figured he could do to anyone else what he’d done to fellow Republicans in the 2016 primary but Joe Biden? He knew he’d be in trouble. Deep trouble.
So, being Trump he decided to get a head start on cheating and take Biden out ahead of the primaries. We all know what he did, and how it led to Impeachment #1. With time left to appoint more radical activist judges and maybe even another Justice if GOP prayers for RBG’s death were answered McConnell would find a way to keep Senate Republicans in line. But Joe Biden became the nominee and whipped Trump’s ass when the election rolled around. A MUCH larger margin of defeat than Hillary Clinton laid on him in 2016 but this time Trump lost the EC so he was out.
He and his team of evil souls knew it was coming and were prepared long before election day to try and keep Biden from taking office. Failure after failure in courts and in getting bogus slates of electors to send in bogus certificates led to the January 6 insurrection and Impeachment #2. If Trump was humiliated (and he was) by the first one, by being on a short list that Presidents DON’T want to be on was bad, making history as the ONLY twice impeached President was simply more than he could, or can take.
That brings us to now, and as this article notes his intense effort to get Biden impeached:
Trump has reportedly been actively engaged with key party leaders leading up to the announcement of a formal impeachment inquiry.
Trump has maintained regular communication with Elise Stefanik, the House GOP Conference Chair and the first Republican leader to endorse impeachment.
Amen to everything! I live in a Red state, and will never cast another vote for a Republican in my life – even for a “good” one, such as our local sheriff. He’s done a great job, and will continue to be elected without my vote. But, like all the rest of my state’s contributions to this debacle (looking at you, Lindsey, Nikki, Tim, Nancy, etc.), he has been silent on this travesty. In my book, silence is complicity. So, never again.
Very good Joseph and I agree wholeheartedly! And Patricia I agree with you too and I will NEVER vote for a Republithug EVER!!
