Shades of Helsinki, where Donald Trump vociferously denied that Russia had interfered in the 2016 election. He was there with Vladimir after all, no reason to make a fuss over trivia, right? Trivia in this case was 17 intelligence agencies saying that Russia had interfered but Trump preferred to take Putin’s word over his own people. Today we have exactly the same scenario. Iran is believed to have launched a cyber attack affecting seven different states but who does Trump think is to blame? Would you believe the State of Minnesota?
U.S. intelligence agencies now believe Iran was behind a coordinated cyberattack that hit more than 30 municipal water systems in Minnesota this week, that’s according to several U.S. officials who spoke to The Washington Post.

Tim Walz responded to Trump by posting, “Trump knows exactly who is responsible for this attack, and knows that other states were hit too. This is what modern warfare looks like, and it further illustrates there’s no plan to win a war with Iran.”
True enough. In the meantime Trump is only too happy to go on record selling his own country and his intelligence services down the drain, while continuing to reinforce his fantasy that poor Iran is on its last legs because of him. Iran is just fine and will continue to fight. What a shame we don’t have a president who is concerned about protecting us.
This just makes me SO ANGRY! I’m going to pop a blood vessel. I LIVE in Minnesota, I love our Governor Tim Walz. He is neither incompetent nor crooked nor any of the other cheap shots tRump takes at him. And our frigging PRESIDENT WHO YOU PEOPLE voted for (you KNOW who you are!!!) would bizarrely rather give HIS OWN CHOSEN ENEMY, IRAN a pass and put the blame squarely on Governor Walz and Minnesota (which I also love).
