Hey buddy, we could have told you so. In fact, we have been telling everybody so but I guess this is one of those situations where you can’t learn unless and until it happens to you. An Iranian businessman by the name of Patrick Bet-David spends a lot of time at Mar-a-Lago. He may have been instrumental in getting Barron Trump named as a delegate to the Republican National Commission, a move that Melania promptly quashed, whomever made it.
I speculate it may have been Bet-David’s doing, in whole or in part, because he went out of his way in a Daily Mail article published right at that time to talk about what a genius Barron is, and how riveting a raconteur he is at dinner parties. Look, I hope that’s true. Not too many 18-year-olds are, due to their understandably limited life experience, but maybe Barron has a wisdom way beyond his years. It would be nice if somebody in that family did. Even a maturity commensurate with their biological age would be refreshing. In any event, Bet-David loves him some Mar-a-Lago but evidently he’s just now come to learn something fundamental about the MAGA base and it distresses him. Surprise, surprise.

We hate to tell you, Mr. Bet-David, that it’s the MAGAs who are calling you and people like you “camel jockeys” and “sand n*****s, not the Democrats. The MAGAs want everybody with brown skin and an accent gone and they’re not all that particular about where the people originated from to begin with.
And there is no way it’s only 5% that want this guy gone. He’s got the figure inverted, it’s 5% that are okay with him being here and 95% that want him gone. That’s who MAGA is.
And Trump is just fine with all of this. Right now Trump is on top of the world. He’s playing everybody against everybody else and both sides against the middle. He couldn’t be more content. But like all things that are built on fantasy, castles in the sky, Trump will find out soon enough that he’s made conflicting promises and he can’t please everybody. So who will he make it a priority to please?
Get ready, because it won’t be long before we find out. (Pro tip: Trump will worry about his billionaire buddies long before he does his MAGA base.) Don’t forget, this is Trump’s last go round politically and he doesn’t care what happens to the GOP once he’s done using them, anymore than you and I stress out over our toilet paper going down the drain.

Scientists say it’s because the artic is warming 4x faster than other areas of the planet. Expect much much worse as your boy gives the fossil fuel industry the green light to “drill baby drill”.
