Another legal masterpiece by Donald Trump’s Lawyers, the same team of transitory, revolving door characters that continue to represent him as he blunders through the superior and appellate court system, on his way to the highest court in the land. In today’s stellar submission, Defendant Trump is challenging the fact that he’s before the court at all with respect to his illegal retention and concealment of classified documents. Here’s a sampling and it’s a doozy. I hope you’re sitting down.
The Hur Report is the latest entry on a long list of similarly situated government officials
not being charged with a crime in connection with allegations relating to the handling of classified information. Others include former President William Clinton, former Vice President Mike Pence, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and former FBI Director James Comey. There is also significant evidence that this prosecution is motivated by impermissible considerations concerning President Trump’s status as the leading candidate in the 2024 election and President Biden’s chief political rival. Dating back to April 2022, the Biden Administration has urged prosecutors to coopt the criminal justice system to try and accomplish what President Biden cannot do on the campaign. trial, defeat President Trump. Earlier this week, a super PAC supporting President Biden stated its intention to spend more than $40 million to “amplify” the Biden Administration’s unjust
election-interference mission.3 Supporters of President Biden are spending tens of millions of dollars to amplify prosecutions brought by the Biden Administration; that is election interference in its clearest form. Based on this evidence, the Defendants are entitled to discovery and a hearing concerning selective and vindictive prosecution, and they will ultimately demonstrate that the Superseding Indictment must be dismissed.
Sigh. There he goes again, demanding that cases be dismissed when there ain’t no way in hell they’re going to be dismissed. But he finds lawyers who will prepare this stuff for him and sign their names, and their careers, away. Let us continue. Take a look at what Trump views as part of a government conspiracy against him.

I don’t know where Trump’s lawyers found it, I merely state that it’s in the pleading and I copied and pasted it. It’s off of social media but who knows what context it appeared in? In all events, it’s now being used to buttress an anti-Trump conspiracy theory. And the irony there is that nobody needs to conspire to make this guy have legal problems, he creates them beautifully, all on his own. That’s what the MAGAs are blind to.
Forging ahead, we find this jewel.
The government may not pursue cases “with an evil eye and an unequal hand so as
practically to make unjust and illegal discrimination between persons in similar
circumstances . . . .” Yick Wo v. Hopkins, 118 U.S. 356, 373-74 (1886). Prosecutors “must
exercise their charging discretion within constitutional constraints, including those imposed by the equal protection component of the Due Process Clause of the Fifth Amendment.” United States v. Smith, 231 F.3d 800, 807 (11th Cir. 2000) (cleaned up). Under the Due Process Clause, a prosecution decision “may not be based on an unjustifiable standard . . . or arbitrary classification.” Id. (cleaned up).
And no I don’t know what the words “cleaned up” are doing in parens. That is a new one on me. This is worth reading if you have the time and want to hit this link.
I like this part a lot, where he goes after Mike Pence. He couldn’t get him killed but maybe he can get him brought up on criminal charges. Hey, listen Mike, if I were you, I’d do everything I could to see that Donald doesn’t get back in power, or he might have Stephen Miller come over and take you away one night. Just a thought.
In addition to the declination concerning President Biden, the same National Security
Division within DOJ that investigated President Trump—and likely some of the same prosecutors who have investigated President Trump—appropriately declined to prosecute former Vice President Mike Pence. They made that decision in June 2023, just before Pence announced his since-aborted presidential campaign, and despite an iterative process that involved three separate instances in which classified documents were discovered in Pence’s home (but no obstruction charges or interference with Pence’s attorney-client privilege).14 The same month, the Special Counsel’s Office charged the Defendants in this case. The timing suggests that the Biden Administration and DOJ wanted to facilitate Pence’s campaign while stifling President Trump’s, and as a result of President Trump’s subsequent nationwide success it is now clear why.
There you have it. Pence is now part of the plot against Trump. This is an all-encompassing conspiracy, this one. Then the pleading takes off after the Clintons. The gist of this filing is that 1) There’s a vast conspiracy against Donald Trump. 2) Everybody else gets away with murder except Donald Trump. 3) You better dismiss this case right now. 4) Or else.
You think I jest? Go read it. Trump is blameless, it’s just that you’re all so mean and moreover you’re jealous, too.
“The Defendants seek judicial intervention to thwart ongoing discovery abuses by the Special Counsel’s Office in connection with a case that should have never been brought and must ultimately be dismissed on the basis of, inter alia, selective and vindictive prosecution.”
This is the GOP’s best, folks. This is who they’re backing and hoping will put them back in the driver’s seat in Washington. This is the star the Republicans have hitched their wagon to. I think they should take Ann Coulter’s advice and work on getting the Senate.

It reads like something stupid people think is smart.
i.e. Trump’s supporters read what they can of this and see ‘big words’ and ‘fancy legal terms’ that they don’t understand and say ‘Well, that looks legit’.
But court’s are full of actually smart people who can see it for the nonsense it is.
Leaving Trump’s supporters to say ‘They’re picking on poor Trump’, then feeling sorry for him and sending him money. So it’s all part of the grift.
Or. His lawyers are just as stupid as his supporters – is there really this much stupidity in the world?
Yes, sadly there is and most of it is located right here in the old U. S. of A. It has gotten to the point when you cannot go thru a 24 hour time period without hearing/seeing several absolutely asinine things and that’s just in this country.
Sad state of affairs.
It’s like the line in Alice In Wonderland, “I’ve been asked to believe at least six impossible things before breakfast.” If you live in Trump world, that’s the norm.
More like a bratty child whining about how unfair it is that his older,,smarter bro who made one minor mistake on his math test and still got an A ( because that question was only worth 5 points our of 100) gets to watch tv after he does his homet while the brat only got 10 out of 20 wrong and is no longer allowed to watch tv on school nights.
longer being allowed
Biden and Pence were not charged because they acted like responsible adults. When they found documents they should not have retained, they immediately called NARA and said come get these ASAP! They cooperated fully in searching for any others.
None of this remotely resembles what Trump did.
I am also part of the plot against Trump…proudly!!
