If you’re looking for the tweet, it has since disappeared. But not before it was reported on by a number of sites (msn and business insider to name a couple).
Perhaps the Idiot-in-Chief realized his response was juvenile and stupid and deleted it? Or maybe someone took away the baby’s cell phone and deleted it for him. As for realizing the irony of the tweet itself? Trump must have missed that.
But the irony of the president claiming that De Niro has a “very low IQ,” while misspelling the word “too,” wasn’t lost on Twitter critics.
Here is what his tweet actually said:
“Robert De Niro, a very Low IQ individual, has received to [sic] many shots to the head by real boxers in movies. I watched him last night and truly believe he may be “punch-drunk.” I guess he doesn’t realize the economy is the best it’s ever been with employment being at an all time high, and many companies pouring back into our country. Wake up Punchy!”
And here are a few gems from the Twitterverse:
I love how Trump makes fun of Robert De Niro for having "a low IQ" but doesn't understand the difference between to and too. Lmfao.???????? #Trump

Speaking of low IQ individuals ….. don't you ever find a new line to insult people who speak truth to power? What a fragile little narcissist you are. #SAD BTW, everybody loved Robert De Niro #Toronto and cheered him when he apologized for you! pic.twitter.com/GnWg4xth6U

Robert De Niro has a low IQ? It's "too" many shots, not "to" many, genius!
