The White House presser today was alarming for a number of reasons. Donald Trump is insistent on putting the National Guard in Washington, D.C. and that’s for openers. He told J.D. Pritzker that he might send troops to Chicago next and Pritzker told him where to stick it. We’ll get to all that in due course. But what blew my mind totally was Trump talking about his Friday summit with Vladimir Putin — in Russia. He said that twice. Either his mind is completely gone and he doesn’t know that Alaska is not Russia. Or, and I think this more likely, he’s had a chat or two with Russian historian Putin and Putin has told him that Alaska used to be part of Russia. And since Putin thinks that everything that historically was part of Russia is still or should be part of Russia, probably some strange conversations ensued.

I don’t know about you but that rings some alarm bells with me. Does the man seriously NOT KNOW that the State of Alaska is the State of Alaska? Once again, I understand why I take medication for hypertension, every time I look at a newspaper or a news broadcast this idiot is saying something that I cannot believe is coming out of any elected official’s mouth, let alone the president of this country.
Trump is not playing with a full deck, yet he’s going to Alaska and talking to Putin about parts of Ukraine being returned to Russia. Zelensky says that won’t happen. So what will happen, with this puddin’ brain in Alaska on Friday? Your guess is as good as anybody’s. This is seriously ridiculous.
But of course his MAGAs defend it. If you go to Twitter now you can see explanations that “Putin is Russia and if you go to Putin you’re going to Russia.” Great. So if Putin shows up in New York, a visit to New York then becomes a visit to Russia?
Remember, Trump hasn’t gotten here on his own. He’s gotten here due to massive collusion in the GOP with a madman and a cult that wants him to do whatever he wants — until it hits them in the pocketbook, badly, which is coming any time now.
Thy name is hypocrite. Where were you when Obama stated he had campaigned in all 57 states? Were you ready to throw him in the looney bin? Please name a President that hasn’t misspoken.
Methinks the troll doth protest too much. Where were YOU when every right-wing site and talking head attacked Biden for gaffes as “evidence” of his “slipping?”
Oh, that’s right. You were there BOLSTERING that fake news.
By the way, Drumpf doesn’t “misspeak”; he LIES and then forgets his lies by changing what he says within hours, or even minutes, to the exact opposite.
But, here’s some food for thought: Do you think Drumpf would’ve repeatedly said he’s “going to Russia” for a meeting with Putin at Mar-a-Lago? And if he HAD said that, would that have finally made you realize that Drumpf has completely lost it?
In the meantime, eff yourself with a cactus.
