Every holiday is another opportunity to grift for Donald Trump and Father’s Day is no different. Yesterday Trump issued a statement suggesting the perfect Father’s Day gift — for him, in all events, and who else matters?
“My tour with Bill O’Reilly is getting a lot of attention, and I’m looking forward to it. Maybe tickets would make a great Father’s Day gift? In any event, I’ll see you then, and much sooner!”
The tickets are going from $100 to $7,500 for two tickets, which is some incredible spread. The difference in the tickets hasn’t been explained, we assume that $100 gives you a groundling seat, and $7,500 puts you onstage with Trump and O’Reilly. Or, at the very least, entitles you to come to an after show reception, which will allow you to shake the germophobic, former president’s small sweaty hand.
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster, unlike tickets to the August 15 Inauguration, which are only available in the other dimension, you know, the one where all the MAGAs believe Trump really won the election.
Maybe the ticket sales didn’t spike enough, because an annoyed sounding Trump sent this as a holiday greeting.
