This is going to open a can of worms, I’ll tell you what. Donald Trump was in Pennsylvania again today. Expect him there a lot. He’s trailing Harris in some polls and Trump cannot lose Pennsylvania, unless a number of other combinations break right for him. If he lost Pennsylvania but won both North Carolina and Georgia, that might keep him afloat. It’s difficult to predict at this point, because we’re in the last three and a half weeks now and this is where political pundits switch to monitoring the ground game and listening to the local journalists. Trump’s ground game makes no sense, so we may have to just listen to the local journalists and see how they read the tea leaves. Meanwhile, the Pennsylvania rally today was one of Trump’s most off the walls yet. You keep wondering if this man has a bottom and so far the answer to that is “unfortunately, no.” Or at least, none that we’ve seen, because it keeps getting worse.

That is some wild statement there. He’s going to end the war with Ukraine as PRESIDENT ELECT? The hell he will. He will definitely destroy this country and whatever parts of the world he can ruin, if he indeed becomes president, but he will not do a bloody thing until January 20, 2025 at noon. Hopefully. we won’t have to see that eventuality.
My impression of why he’s even saying something this bizarre is because he wants to prove his power. He’s a bit like Annikan Skywalker, all hopped up on what a powerful being he is, until he goes head first into the lava and becomes Darth Vadar.
Now Trump did two rallies today in Pennsylvania, one in Redding, one in Scranton. Here’s some more nuttiness, beyond what you have just heard:
I watch a lot of Trump rallies, but what happened in Scranton, PA on Wednesday stood out, not because Trump was suddenly lucid, or made any news about his plan for America, We all know that the only plan Trump has is to win to keep himself potentially out of federal prison, and there are never any actual Trump policies. There are slogans and ideas, but never any actual nuts and bolts policies.
I have reviewed footage of Trump’s previous campaigns, and there was nothing like this in any of Trump’s 2016 speeches:
“And on that, I agree with them. Sleepy Joe. Although Joe’s looking pretty good lately, I tell you. He’s looking pretty good compared to Kamala. Right? First time, I said, you know, this guy’s starting to look sharper. He’s starting to look sharper because we’re comparing it, and he’s angry at her, and he hates her.”
“The only question is, I think he hates her almost as much as he hates me. No. And I think he might be willing to, he can’t take much more. It was an overthrow, okay? It was an overthrow. And he’s having a hard time saying, you know, he did it voluntarily. He didn’t. They pulled out, you know what they did, right?”
“Article what? 25. That’s what they did. And they said, You’re sick. You’re not gonna go on. He got 14 million votes. He got 14. Think of it. He got 14. She got none. And this was really, uh, this was an overthrow. This is the first overthrow or you could call it a coup. Do you want to call it a coup? This was the first coup in the history of America.”
This is plain madness. Joe Biden left the race of his own free will. Kamala Harris took the reins, as was anticipated. This is the farthest thing from a coup d’etat in American history. But Trump is still upset about it, over three months later. He can’t adjust to the new reality of running against Kamala Harris. Anybody normal minded person would have accepted the fact of the new competitor and adjusted to it in one day. Or less.
Campaigning in Scranton makes some sense. Trump won it in 2016 and lost it in 2020, but it was almost as if the campaign trip wasn’t about winning votes. Donald Trump’s ego wanted to go to Scranton and say bad things about Joe Biden.
Then came this admission from Trump that he doesn’t care if insulting Harris costs him votes:
“Even the grid operators themselves say that if the insanity continues, Kamala will crush the electrical grid of the United States of America. But we will not let her do it, will we? We’re not gonna let her do it. She’s bad news. She doesn’t even know where the hell she is. They ask her questions like a, like a vacuum, uh huh.”
“No, I don’t want to be nice, you know. Somebody said, you should be nicer. Women won’t like it. I said, I don’t care.”
The man sounds completely nuts. And I’ll tell you what intrigues me: he keeps using the same lines he used to describe the allegedly-demented Joe Biden, “he doesn’t know where he is” to describe Harris and it simply falls on the floor. Evidently, he can’t see that. It is an embarrassment that Trump is still on the ticket. He may lose seats down ballot. In all truth, it would be a miracle if he doesn’t lose seats for the GOP down ballot, sounding like this.
Many pundits are predicting that the Senate is gone this cycle, and yes, indeed, there is a map in 2024 which is extremely advantageous to the GOP. So yes, it could happen. And then the 2026 map is far more advantageous to the Democrats than this 2024 map is.
But as crazy as Trump is sounding? Don’t consider the Senate an absolute wash at this point. Nothing is carved in stone until the votes are counted. This guy is cray cray and his coattails are MAGA-only. And maybe that will be enough. Maybe that will swing the bat. But I urge you to consider how well MAGA-only coattails have worked for Kari Lake, Mehmet Oz and Herschel Walker, among others.
Don’t give up. There is no reason to, with this lunatic staging these strange scenes every day.
And by the way, I checked the Trump Events board and there is still a ten-day gap, between October 13 and October 23, where nothing at all is listed. That cannot be the way it’s going to stay. Or maybe it is. Again, we’ve never seen anything in a presidential campaign like this, ever.
Maybe it’s a preview of the worry he feels about Article 25 being turned on him.
It’s always projection from them giving us a glimpse at possible futures.

If you came to this country/planet knowing absolutely nothing about our culture, entertainment industry, etc. you sure would be able to guess Ms. Goldberg was a woman of color from trump’s statement.
And she uses swear words judicially. She loathes him.and is generally the attack dog on their token conservative.
