The written rules which the White House established after being ordered by a judge to return Jim Acosta’s hard pass, are really no different than they have ever been — except now if you violate them they’ll take away your credentials.

There’s an easy way to get around this, if the journalists have the guts to do it. If Trump won’t answer a reporter’s question, then the next reporter asks the same question, and the next, until Trump is forced to either deal with the issue or leave the room. The point will be made very quickly, if they all band together as one.
Sam Goldwyn said, “If I want your opinion, I’ll give it to you.” That’s the kind of power Trump wants and the only place he has it is Fox News. It would be interesting to see what the power of the press really amounts to if they work together and go around Trump’s efforts to sabotage and silence them.
