Trump Is Finally A Criminal Defendant. DeSantis Just Stepped On A Landmine. And Something Doesn’t Add Up

YESSSSSSSSSS!!! My life is now sanctified. The last stone removed from my bucket list. The last 7 1/2 years that I have spent paddling around in Donald Trump’s toxic cesspool are now worth every moment of the torture! Trump is no longer Individual One, he is now a common, everyday Criminal Defendant One. Just another thug in an overpriced suit.

Earlier today the Manhattan DA’s office conformed that the Manhattan grand jury had voted to return true bills of indictment against Trump. The MBC News report I heard was that it was actually a 179 count indictment, which remains under seal. And that’s what I want to see. Because something doesn’t add up.

Within minutes of the announcement, while I was out, Trump’s Florida attorney told the media that Trump would voluntarily surrender himself in New York for a 2:15 EDT arraignment hearing on Tuesday. Within minutes Trump’s New York attorney bloviated that Trump had done nothing wrong, and they looked forward to clearing his name on all charges. Blah, blah, blah.

And within minutes more, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, the Tiny Dancer of the 2024 GOP presidential campaign sent out a tweet that the state of Florida would not cooperate with any extradition process to remove Trump from Florida and return him to New York. And in doing so blew another gaping hole in his already floundering campaign.

This is how bone stupid DeSantis is. 61% of Americans want to see Trump indicted, and 65% believe that a Trump indictment should prohibit him from running for office. And yet DeSantis, playing to the 33% solid Trump base he’s never going to get anyway, stomps down his delicate size 4 foot and pout. Which is a self inflicted gunshot wound, since Trump’s attorneys have already indicated that he’ll voluntarily travel to New York to turn himself in, making extradition unnecessary. Stand up and take a bow, FOOL!

But here’s what I want to see, and we’ll have to wait until Tuesday to see it. because Bragg will not unseal the indictments until Trump has surrendered and the processing is in progress. And ladies and gentlemen, something there stinks like yesterdays diapers.

Here’s what stinks. As I wrote previously, the secret to making a cheesedick felony charge like falsifying company documents is to pile it on. Trump fraudulently claimed a payment to Michael Cohen as legal expenses, which was a lie, since it was repayment to Cohen for his personal payment to Stormy Daniels of $130,000. That’s charge one. And over the next 10 months, Trump made 11 more payments to Cohen listed as legal expenses. That’s charges 2-12. The object being to let each count pile on more fines and jail time.

But if the reporting is correct, Bragg secured a 179 count indictment against Trump. And there’s no way on God’s green earth that Bragg could find that many fraudulent transactions just from the Stormy Daniels misadventure. There has to be something else at play here.

And the only thing that makes sense to me is that disgraced former Trump Organization has decided to roll over on Trump. Now that could lead to a whole laundry list of charges for Trump based on his professional, non presidential business dealings in his own company. And if Weisselberg has, or is in the process of spilling the beans, that only strengthens NY AG Letitia James’s case when Bragg shares.

Now we all just have to wait until Tuesday. If, as promised, Trump turns himself in for processing and arraignment, then Manhattan DA Bragg will unseal the indictments, and if it’s anything even approaching 179 count’s, then it’s going to become a media feeding frenzy.

Because the media is going to automatically start looking at dates and transactions, and there’s no way they’ll all be connected to the Stormy Daniels payoff. The lid will be pried off of the Trump criminal can of worms, and the media will be all over it. And so will any banks who have outstanding loans with Trump. They’ll use the fraud clause in the contracts to try to call in his markers. And if that happens, then Stormy Daniels is going to be the least of Donald Trump’s problems. Patience, grasshoppers.
