I rarely agree with anything Donald Trump says, but this is one of those broken clock moments where, in fact, he is right about something being a source of comedy. That something is the latest Fox News poll which shows all the contenders to the GOP throne as having lost some steam since the last poll — except for himself and Liz Cheney, who gained point(s).
Trump mainly is taking a shot at Ron DeSantis, who is down by four points. Nikki Haley is down by 3% and Mike Pence by 1%. Since the two of them were barely registering a pulse to begin with, it’s a clear sign that whatever they’re doing, it’s not going in the right direction.
And Liz Cheney is up by one point. She’s also barely registering a pulse, but it is interesting that out of all the candidates, only she and Trump have gone up.
Trump, of course, loves this because it’s Fox News. He’s so hoping that he can rekindle the bromance and be number one over there again.
And it’s not a good day for DeSantis in any event. He just got out-negotiated by Mickey Mouse.
Somebody else wrote the above. Trump may (repeat: MAY) have spoken the words, but he doesn’t write so grammatically. IMO, if Trump is writing, every grammar, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation rule is not just broken, but ground into dust!
