Meltdowns on Truth Social are about as memorable as snowflakes in winter. They’re to be expected, storms come with regularity. Similarly, Donald Trump is in a near constant state of agitation and he goes to social media to process his feelings. Truth Social is his own personal therapy session and that will remain the case until the platform closes its doors — which will not be too long from now, so get ready. You may recall reading how when the most recent SEC statement came out on the social media platform that the Truth Social accountant who signed off on it expressed grave doubts that the company could remain in business for that much longer. That’s coming straight from the horse’s mouth.

But until Truth Social goes dark, expect Trump to vent over there. He vented this last weekend and made a comment which was extremely significant. It went unnoticed for the most part, because Trump posts sometimes dozens of comments at once. His last meltdown was 71 posts in some 14 hours. But rest assured that what you’re about to see was seen and understood by the right people; just as Trump intended.

That is some comment. Who indeed does Trump want to “step in?” And what does step in mean? I would love it if Michael Cohen would take a moment to comment on this, since Cohen knows Trump’s mobspeak if anybody does. This is Trump telegraphing what he wants to the base, just as he telegraphed the Insurrection on January 6 with “be there. Will be wild.” Wild it was. People ended up dead, injured, disabled for life.

Now this next video is something you have to see. This is Trump’s plan to gut the civil service and implement a theocratic government. This is straight out of the Handmaid’s Tale and it’s been brewing for quite some time. Make no mistake, Mike Pence and Trump have had their differences, but the kind of government being described here — straight from the pages of the Project 2025 manifesto — is precisely what Pence stands for. He wants a religious wingnut society. And Jeff Sessions was on board for such a thing, and so many Trumpers were and are. If you wondered why Trump did the batshit Bible sales thing, this is why. The Trump Bible represents the merger of MAGA with the White Evangelical world, the merger of church and state, and Project 2025 is key to that.

That is enough to turn your hair white if it isn’t already. People seeing this on Twitter asked in the comments thread, “Why isn’t there more of this in the news?” Because it’s believed to be “too extreme” even though it is emphatically not. If you go to the Project 2025 website it says plain as day that the first time Trump was in office that there was no plan. And there was not only no plan, he and his son-in-law, Jared, didn’t know the first thing about government. They honestly did not know that the people answering the phones, emptying the trash cans, etc., were from the Obama administration and would leave with that administration and they had to hire other people. Even something that basic and fundamental was not known to this cast of clowns.

But now they do know what’s involved in governance, oh yes. And they are setting the stage to gut the Civil Service and fill the government with Trump loyalists. That is the primary qualification for employment in Trump Term Two, is being a full on MAGA. If you think that things are ludicrous enough with Lara Trump running the RNC, wait until you catch a glimpse of what’s in store if Trump gets back in again.

These people are not sane. John Eastman lost his license to practice law last week and he was on Newsmax talking about how his disbarment was “political” and “aimed at destroying the adversarial system of justice.” Marjorie Taylor Greene called Eastman a “great lawyer” and one of the greatest. Look for both these loons to have key posts in a new Trump administration where anything goes.

Eastman could end up being Ambassador to the United Nations. If he hadn’t gotten disbarred he might have been in line for Attorney General. But who knows? Maybe Trump won’t let such trifles annoy him and he would give the AG spot to Eastman. Jeffrey Clark almost had it, so this is not that far fetched. If Trump got back in office, it’s entirely possible that he would dictate to the California State Bar who they could license and if Trump said Eastman returns, maybe he could make that happen. If Trump gets back in, that particular trifle is going to be the least of our problems, I assure you.

Marge Greene might even be on Trump’s ticket as his VP. This is how close we are to becoming a complete banana republic.
