After eight long years, anybody who doesn’t know that Trump is the most self indulgent, self centered, self aggrandizing narcissist in history just hasn’t been paying attention.
That being said, Traitor Tot’s total self absorption makes for an interesting, and often amusing paradox. What do you call two physicians in a cab? A Paradox. because everything must be all Trump, all the time, Trump is mentally and emotionally incapable of stepping outside himself to consider how what he’s thinking and/or planning might play in the larger real world. And since His Lowness is surrounded by spineless sycophants, there’s nobody in his inner circle with the cojones to tell him when he’s about to step on his crank.
Case in point, Trump’s current legal problems. The Manhattan DA case has been a constant thorn in his side, simply because he has been incapable to stop it. But the Me, Me, Me Trump found a way to turn his impending trial, and probable conviction into a political fundraising asset.
In a tragi-comic twist, Trump started portraying himself to his mentally defective base as the Heroic Martyr, standing tall to take the hit for them, the ones the deep state really wanted. This bushwah is incomprehensible. I can’t help but wonder how many of Trump’s sheeple ever stopped to ask themselves How many porn stars do I know, other than sliding a DVD into a machine, and do I have $130,000 to pay them off? How is Trump taking this hit for Me?
Apparently some. Trump is fundraising constantly off of the horndog Suprehero persona, but FEC filings show his donations are down 63% from where they were in 2020. Trump fatigue is even settling in among his small donor class.
But since it still seems to be working, Trump has settled on a Heinekin 6 pack, Kimchi brain fart of epic proportions to turn his legal problems into an electoral landslide. And the results are just too precious for words, if that is, you’re a four year old with a finger painting for the refrigerator door.
Follow Trump’s logic here. Trump considers himself a totally innocent man, being victimized by the Biden deep state Department of Justice for purely political reasons. Who else knows all about being brutalized and victimized by The Man? African Americans and Hispanics of course. Exactly the two ethnic groups he struggles with the most. So why not try to pass himself off as one of them? After all, who would be more sympathetic?
Look, don’t blame me, I’m not the conductor, I just play the tuba Trump is actually hammering this infantile bullsh*t in his stump speeches, he’s courting the black and Hispanic vote by comparing himself to them. Just another minority? being oppressed by an out of control legal and judicial system. Although I notice that he isn’t using this line in any of his e-mail or text blasts to his lily white supporters.
There a couple of problems with this line of reasoning. First of all, Trump isn’t black or brown, he’s a honky that’s whiter than sour cream. Second, this is the same Trump who took out a full page ad on the front page of The New York Times demanding the public execution of the Central Park Five, five black and brown teens falsely accused and convicted of beating and taping a white jogger in Central Park. Even after their vindication through DNA evidence, Trump has never apologized or backed down. And third, Trump is not an oppressed minority, in fact he’s exactly the kind of pompous rich *sshole that black and brown people think benefit from the rigged system.
There’s Trump’s Chinese Box, with no positive way out. If Trump is acquitted, which is highly unlikely considering the evidence, or returns a hung jury, which is more likely, b;ack and brown voters aren’t going to take to the streets protesting another underprivileged dude getting steamrolled by the system. Trump will be the poster child of the system that gives breaks to wealthy white men at the expense of the minorities.
But here’s the McGuffin I love. Even if Trump is convicted, black and brown people aren’t going to take to the streets to protest the shamess conviction of another one of them. Instead, Trump will instantly become the poster child for the system actually working the way it should, and putting away a rich white dude.
Mirrors on the ceiling, the pink champagne on ice. And she said, We are all just prisoners here, of our own device. And so is Trump, a prisoner of his own mental illness Rube Goldberg contraption. And when it all comes crashing down around his ears, he will be incapable of understanding why his minions didn’t play the parts he set up for them in his production. And this man child is a serious candidate for the Oval Office. What a way to run a f*cking railroad.
