It’s targeted to hit “this weekend on Fox News at Bedminster and Mar-a-Lago so every one of his pathetic foot soldiers can see how weak and doomed the Trump campaign has become. There will be 12-13 spots per system on Fox News on each.” Yes, of course it’s a Lincoln Project psy ops, along with the whispering, inner voice of doom and the Trump clips that make it a classic.

The Trump team is in shambles after President Biden did what Trump never would–put the country over personal ambition. Now that Kamala Harris has lit up the race, the Trump camp has never been more of a national embarrassment. Trump’s listening to LaCivita and Wiles who made that weird and creepy VP pick in JD Vance, said the election was a lock, and said Biden wouldn’t drop out. And now the campaign is facing the consequences.
“Chris Lacivita and Susie Wiles, the puppeteers behind Trump’s campaign, made the dumbest of all calculations and are paying the price for it,” said Lincoln Project co-founder Rick Wilson. “We know they’re losing control and in true Lincoln Project fashion we are putting it squarely in their faces so everywhere they turn they’ll be reminded this election just took a turn–and they are going to lose bigly.”
Isn’t that a great sentence? Let’s read it again, “This election just took a turn — and they are going to lose bigly.” Yes, they are. Yugely, in fact. So yugely that big strong men with tears in their eyes will be coming up to Donald Trump years from now and saying, “Sir, sir, what happened? What happened? I spent my life savings on Trump Bibles, Trump sneakers, and Let’s Go Brandon merchandise and now I’m living in a cardboard box in back of the dumpster. What happened, Sir?”
I can’t wait. It can’t be soon enough for me. What’s happening with Kamala Harris is what none other than Abraham Lincoln himself spoke about, public sentiment. “Public sentiment is everything. With public sentiment, nothing can fail. Without it, nothing can succeed.” Kamala has public sentiment on her side right now. It’s so bad that Sean Hannity is calling it a “sugar high” and promising it will fade soon, so that both his star viewer and his Fox News bosses don’t leap off the ledge.
Joe Biden did something that Trump simply cannot do, the past few weeks, a couple of things in fact: He was open to listening to people around him and he made his decision based upon what was best for America, not for himself. And this is not the first time. That’s the kind of guy Joe is. Joe Biden made the decision back in 2008 to support Barack Obama, who needed a solid establishment politician with not only street cred in Washington but foreign policy chops as well to back his presidential campaign. And Joe made that decision again in 2012.
Joe could have run in 2016 but he stood aside for Hillary. He was there for us, again, in 2020, when he beat Donald Trump and saved democracy. And he’s right here for us again in 2024, still beating Trump and still saving democracy. In fact, this might well be Joe’s finest hour, in a lot of fine hours, in a notable career of service which spans over 50 years.
Donald’s head is doing 180s right now, like Beetlejuice. He’s trying to figure out “what happened?” And it’s only going to get worse. The truth is going to come out about the shrapnel, not the bullet, and he’s going to have to debate Kamala. He can’t get out of it. Another piece of stupidity from Wiles and LaCivita was the memo they sent out today, saying that Trump wouldn’t debate Kamala. All that did was expose him as the weakling and fool that he is and underscore how out of control the Trump campaign is. And I hope Kamala chooses to rub Trump’s nose in that fact, when they finally do debate.
Early polling shows Kamala inching ahead. Let’s see where the polls are in two weeks. One way to gauge Trump’s panic level, always, is to count how many junk polls he quotes on Truth Social. They’re always multicolored. Get ready to be blinded in the weeks to come every time you go over there. Truth Social is going to look like a Christmas tree and it’s not even August.

That should be the operative word – WEIRD. Human nature is such that damned near no one likes admitting they’re wrong, or made a mistake/bad decision. Even to themselves. They get their back up and dig in. Even if the proverbial worm has turned even with some MAGAs when it comes to Vance they were excited as hell when Trump anointed him. Calling them stupid now won’t help. However, coming at them sideways with “weird” might have really good effect. Especially with hard-core conservatives who will never, ever vote for a Democrat. But if they don’t vote for Trump/Vance that’s good enough. And for disaffected conservatives who wonder what the hell happened to their Party some, not a large percentage but some might well hold their noses and accept a loss this year and vote for Harris. If only in the hopes it will finally give them a shot at reststoring the GOP to pre-Trump times. IF we don’t go rubbing ALL Republican’s noses in the “got too big for his britches” arrogance of Trump, which was epitomized by the choice of Vance.
Calling it stupid (because he WAS enthusiastically received for a few days) will get their backs up because they’ll take it as calling THEM stupid. Calling Vance/choosing him “weird” takes the sting out. Too paraphrase the Dumbledore character in the last Harry Potter words can be magical. Weird might turn out to be a magical world this year, one that can lead to a lot of good things.
They seem to be fired up because their chosen, favorite punching bag is gone. As far as a “sugar high”, I think it’s much more than that. All of us who have been horrified, disgusted, outraged for the past 71/2 years are about to fix this. We are finally getting a our say in a big way.
I’d pay to hear Kamala say at a debate—“hear that? That’s all lies. Here’s what we really did…” and then she starts counting off the achievements of the last four years and proceeds to outline plans for the future…
You may hear it for free, Trump has NOTHING left, except his declining, almost completely un-intelligible word salads, hence his lies are all there and all have already collected layers of dust in a back room, but his un-ending repeating of that trash, WILL show as a light halo over Kamala’s head, while she assembles her next barrage of truth all over Trump’s stupid EGO, which IS almost the size of Australia …
Trump’s hanging onto the podium to keep from falling as he faints from EGO OVERLOAD, may slow that fall down a couple milliseconds, but, my rotund frame will LOLFOF, tears of joy and amusement extreme …

Some of the transcripts I have seen today of Trump sound like there is definitely something neurological going on. Dementia? Mini-strokes? I don’t know. But even by Trump.standards, never very high on coherence, he has hit a new low. He is completely incomprehensible. He cannot complicated a sentence or a thought.
