This is shocking but not surprising — meaning that it’s tasteless, but in its very tastelessness, it’s pure Trumpian. We got his Thanksgiving greeting earlier today, where he wished a happy holiday to all the lunatics. You would think that he would stop there. No, he has to drag the level of social discourse down even three or four more stories, on this mad elevator ride straight to Hell. And yes, we know, it’s the libs’ problem that we don’t have a sense of humor. This is just peachy keen. Wonder why the ruling parties in Canada, the UK, France, all that, don’t do one of these to goose their enemies? It’s because they have some class.

He’s still the schoolyard bully. He’s got to let the world know, he won, he’s the king. And in his own mind, he is. But he did not win by a decisive mandate and it’s not going to be an easy row for him to hoe for the next few years, let alone the next four.
But he doesn’t have the awareness to parse through the reality of his situation. All he knows is that he’s going to debase, degrade, mock, ridicule and torment anybody that he wants to via social media and then have his compatriots (read “goons”) go after his enemies legally. If they will.
Let’s see how far Trump’s fantasyland image of what he’s going to do matches the reality of what he or anybody can actually achieve on the facts as they are. Bear in mind, he’s already lost two major battles and it’s only been three weeks. John Thune is running the Senate, not Rick Scott. Matt Gaetz’ nomination for attorney general lasted about one Scaramucci. These are not small things.
But dance away, Donald. Have a good time. Because it’s not going to be the fun ride you think it is. And you should be able to read the handwriting that’s already on the walls and know that. But evidently you can’t. So be it.
You are the architect of your own adversity, Donald. Unity is a word that you don’t know. And your boorishness will not yield what you think it will. But only you can find that out in the due course of time. It’s clear that nobody has ever been able to tell you anything.
Half of America hates this man more than any other president or political figure in American history. That is simple fact. And he can rub in his victory, rub salt in the wound, but that’s not going to make him any less hated. Or make the task ahead of him any easier.
He can’t read the writing on the walls because they’s covered by boxes of top secret documents … or he thinks they are.
So it’s still about ‘pwning the libs’?
