This is totally nuts. Late last night I came upon Don Junior’s post of the eclipse image that you see. This morning it was revealed that Junior didn’t just find or make up the image (which makes sense. He doesn’t have the intelligence or the imagination) no, it is an image from a Trump Senior production. It is as Bizarro World as you would imagine.

Now what is comical about this, and Trump is probably too illiterate to know, is that in the Book of Revelations it talks about eclipses as a sign of the end times, “The sun shall go to darkness,” all that. And so Trump is associating himself with the end times? The end times of the GOP, absolutely. I think we’ll all stipulate to that.
Creative minds are already coming up with a come back.

I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that some version of Trump with a halo saying he was the Chosen One exists. Frankly, I’m surprised that Team Trump let this one out. I guess they figure that this is somehow a winning message to Independents. Beats the hell out of me.
I think the simple fact of the matter is that the eclipse was getting too much press and Trump couldn’t stand it and decided to show the eclipse who was boss.
