THIS Is What “Accountability” Looks Like. And This Is Just The Drizzle before The Storm

Take a real good look at the article photo, because that’s what an $83 million LOSER looks like! And the most delicious part of it is that Traitor Tot himself knows it! MSNBC legal analyst Katie Phang summed it up perfectly when she noted that today’s verdict brings an end to the era of “The Teflon Don.”

Trump has spent just about 77 years now skating from personal accountability. Right from childhood he has used bluff, bribes or bullsh*t to keep from having to accept any personal accountability for his myriad of sexual, legal, or business f*ck ups.

But here’s where the karma comes in. After a life spent successfully pulling a Houdini on lawyers, cops, prosecutors, creditors and vendors, A full life of vicious sexism and misogyny, when $83.2 million in accountability finally bites him on the ass, it’s an 80 year old woman who leaves the tooth prints, like putting your hands in cement on the Walk of Stars.

But here’s the true hidden beauty that I never knew before. Apparently the US judicial system has seen enough scamster deadbeats to know that ass clowns like Trump are going to try to game the system. And as a result, last year when the original jury found for E Jean Carroll to the tune of $5 million, Trump was required by the court to cough up a $5 m illion surety bond, just like anybody trying to get bail. Same concept too, since the bail bond is to make sure you show up in court, and the surety bond will ensure that he ponies up if he loses his appeal.

And now, some time next week, Judge Kaplan is going to hold another bond hearing in court, and Traitor Tot is going to have to be ready to pony up a large chunk, if not all of that $83.2 million. Good luck trying to find a bondsman with pockets that deep. I’m guessing he puts up property into escrow to cover the balance.

And we’re just getting started. Trump bragged in his deposition last year, and as the Carroll lawyers played for the jury this week, El Pendejo Presidente claimed to have a $450 million cash reserve for use in business deals and emergency expenses. In two separate lawsuits Carroll has skinned him for some $88 million in settlements. And if New York AG Letitia James gets the $370 million in fines, then Trump’s entire $450 million slush fund is going to be stuck in escrow for future settlement payments. And if you honestly believe Trump has $450 million laying around anywhere, seek professional help. There’s a reason why he calls himself The King of Debt. And the cherry on top? Trump has to pay interest on all of that money for the time it’s tied up in the appeals process.

But wait! There’s more! For the first time, we’re finally starting to see the long awaited GOP Civil War, and it’s already being fought on multiple fronts. And already it isn’t going well for The Mango Messiah.

Back in 2020, RNC lap poodle Ronna Romney McDaniel had a problem. A weak, unpopular President who just happened to own lock, stock and barrel 40% of the GOP vote. There were several formidable GOP opponents who wanted to take His Lowness for a run around the track. The solution? Cancel the 2020 GOP presidential primaries, and make Trump the nominee by Imperial Fiat.

Now it’s 2024, and Hair Twitler isn’t even President anymore. But if it worked once, why not twice. McDaniel released a copy of a letter that proudly proclaims that although Nikki Haley is still running, she doesn’t have a shot in hell, and since Trump’s voters want Trump, the RNC will pass a resolution at next weeks RNC national meeting proclaiming Trump the presumptive nominee. Since at the moment Trump has 32 delegates to Haley’s 17, this is idiotic. And after the severe blowback, it’s also off the table.

There are a couple of really good reasons for Haley to stay in the race just as long as AFP is paying for it. As I wrote a day or two ago, there is a growing category now called Trump Never Trumpers, people who have voted twice for Trump, but would rather die in harness than do it again. This is not good news for Trump or the GOP.

And as I wrote in detail a couple of days ago, MSNBC finally gave me my due and covered it today. Long standing political practice is that a Presidential candidate pretty much requires a rock solid 90% of party support, and then pick up the rest from independents and soft voters. As MSNBC pointed out, in the two primary contests that have been held, Trump is averaging a truly anemic 53% of the estimated 15-20% of GOP base voters who showed up. That’s not a nipple clamp, it’s a pair of tweezers.

And now the virus is even infecting the ultimate bastion of Trump control, the GOP Senate. Right now President Biden is getting absolutely hammered over the crisis on the southern border. Add in his flagging domestic support for his unflagging support of Israel, and it’s a toxic cocktail.

So Biden is ready to deal. And as a result, a bipartisan group of GOP and Democratic Senators have been slaving away for the most comprehensive immigration reform package in 30 years. And they’ve reached an agreement in principle. And from what I’ve heard, it’s a conservative’s wet dream. More money for physical defense, more manpower, more drones, and tightening up the asylum requirements.

And The Pampers President is having a Trumper Tantrum. Trump has spent four consecutive cycles running against the brown invasion, and he wants to do it again in 2024. And so he has laid down the law, via Bullsh*t Social of course, NO immigration deal!

Which turns out to be a bridge too far, even for the GOP Senate. Stalwarts like Tom Tillis and Lindsey Graham, and Trump slayer Mitt Romney are up in arms. The basic feeling is Are you f*cking kidding me?! We have a chance to pass a dream bill that we can run on in November by showing voters that we finally delivered on one of our longest standing promises, and he wants us to shut it down to make his job easier? If we walk away from this, we’ll never get a deal like this again! Even in the GOP House, Trump supporting TX rep Dan crenshaw is touting the plan, and telling recalcitrant coworkers, I didn’t come to Washington to get reelected, I came here to do the work. 

Earlier this week it appeared that the deal was on life support. But it was announced today that the bipartisan working group and their staff are going ahead on creating the draft legislation for the bill. That’s where the rubber meets the road. That’s what’s actually in the bill. And they’re planning on having it ready to distribute by the middle of next week.

This figures to come to a head in the next two weeks. Schumer has the numbers to force a cloture vote, and then it’s up for grabs. At this count, right now the three GOP Senators backing the plan all voted to convict Trump, plus Senator Lindsey Graham. Off all of the GOP Senators who voted to convict Trump sign on, they need three more, and Lindsey Graham is likely to be one of them. My personal prediction is that they’ll get cloture and pass the bill, so the GOP Senators can go home and run on passing comprehensive immigration reform. That fruit is just too low hanging to ignore.

And if it passes the Senate, then Democratic Minority Leader Hakeem Jefferies has his sword of Damocles to hold over MAGA Mike Johnson’s head. He can go to Johnson and telling him to rally his caucus for the bill, and get a House GOP majority of his caucus, and Jefferies will do the rest. And in return, Jefferies will pledge full Democratic caucus support for Johnson if some Freedom caucus sorehead puts down a motion to vacate the chair.

I have been predicting this GOP Civil War for over a year now, and come away looking like a total schmuck. But now it’s finally here, and I’m like Tango and Cash, back On Top! And it’s here for two simple reasons. First, The Cheeto Prophet finally demanded his caucus to do something that ran directly counter to their own best interests. And in Dizzy City, political survival is the coin of the realm.

The second reason is even more satisfying. Trump. Is. A Loser. A $83.2. million. loser. with. more. on.. the. way. And even worse, he’s politically as weak as he’s ever been. Loyal two election voters are turning away, and he can’t even get a 60% majority in a primary. Hell, Joe Biden got something like a 73% vote share in New Hampshire on a write in campaign! There’s no reason for Nikki Haley to leave the race, especially with Trump’s criminal trials looming. As long as she stays in, she becomes the last man standing if it all goes against Trump.

Friday Night News Dump Bonus!

Here’s the next critical Trump legal problem date to keep an eye on. January 31st. For two reasons. First, New York Judge Arthur Engeron has indicated that he plans to announce his ruling on the Trump civil fraud trial no later than January 31st. If he rules anything even near the $370 million AG Letitia James is asking, Trump is going to be postal, his freak flag will be flying high next to Old Glory on the moon. Who knows what he’ll do or say.

Second. January 31st is the last day for the Trump Leadership PAC to file their 4th quarter spending with the FEC. Trump has been bleeding that little damsel like a vampire for his personal legal expenses. Their filing is going to have to reflect that number. Which gives Nikki Haley fresh ammunition to use against Trump. And more so, Trump’s small donor base contributing to that PAC to help him in his time of need is foinf to find out just how much they’re spending for him to become an $83.2 million loser! Think they might just start to wonder if it’s worth it?
