I just realized why it is that Traitor Tot and Elon Musk get along so well together. They seem to have come to the shared realization that the only purpose of money is to piss it away. First Elon Musk took a bloodletting in overpaying brutally for The Site Formally Known As Twitter. And now he’s pissing it away on Trump in great gobs.
Reporting on MSNBC tonight shows that in the last few months, Musk has sunk more than $75 million into Trump’s campaign. However, since Musk doesn’t think that Traitor Tot is the same enviable steward of millions of dollars as he is, he kept stoppers. Most of that money has gone into a circus freak entity called America’s PAC, which Musk controls. And the basic purpose of the PAC is for Musk to personally run Trump’s late grassroots and ground game for the campaign.
If you simply look at the brief history of the Musk era of running Twitter, it becomes obvious. After Muski made a drunken sailors bid for a crumbling Twitter, so stupid that the Twitter board immediately accepted, and then got lawyers to go to court to enforce the sale, it went down the sh*tter.
He showed up carrying a bathroom sink, which is what he pissed the company down. He fired staff, slashed departments to lean up the operation, belittled employees, and advised those who weren’t ready to work 60 hours a week the way I do to make Twitter a hit, could file their papers and slink off. Which they did.
His PAC fronts a company that actually hires and trains people for door-to-door canvassing and community outreach. There are several branches, and it isn’t going well. Musk is the same self important, micromanaging twit in politics, in which his only connection is his checkbook, as he is at Twitter. He belittles management, keeps changing the rules and expectations at a whim, and punishes with firing.
Example. Musk hired a firm to do neighborhood canvassing in Arizona and Nevada. Even before they got up and running, Musk kept moving the goalposts. And when they couldn’t make the field goal, he fired them. This left him with no ground operation in AZ or NV, although the same company that he fired went on to get a contract with him in Michigan instead. And as a result of his political brilliance, today, 20 days from election day the site still has job openings for neighborhood canvassers.
Which is giving state Democratic Chairs in critical battleground states nocturnal emissions. The Democrats in the battleground states have neighborhood canvassers walking up each others heels, and more phone bankers than they have phones for, thanks to Musk Trump has a ragtag group of untrained slobs knocking on doors.
The Democratic Chair of Wisconsin put it perfectly on MSNBC tonight when he said, When you have the most unqualified, mentally unstable candidate for President in history, it’s a real blessing when he has a Dumpster Fire of a ground game. And this isn’t just going on in Wisconsin, it’s prevalent everywhere where Elon Musk is too bone stupid to let the professionals do the job and just sign the checks.
We’ve been lucky. From 2017-2021 we had enough adults in the room to keep the petulant man child from his most destructive tendencies. In 2020 Trump was incapable of running a proper Covid campaign, and the courts saved the day post election. And in 2024 El Pendejo ex Presidente is surrounded by idiots who fight like his executives at the Trump organization, a lack of money, and rich imbeciles taking a swipe at politics. 20 more days. Let’s just get this national nightmare over with.

They seem to have come to the shared realization that the only purpose of money is to piss it away…” … leaves one with a clear impression both the Tot and the Musk are similar broken biscuits out of the same biscuit tin, that slipped off the shelf and heavily landed onto the floor. They’re both broken and damaged goods, with no place to go, other than dumped into the reject bin, in some disposal shop.
As I understand it, Muskrat was basically given his money also so he is as bad at running anything as orange menace. Neither can properly run a business, let alone anything else. If two people ever deserve each other…..

His money is from emerald mines his daddy owned. Lucky investments and outright theft of an idea (or two) fleshed out his bank account but I’d say the damage done by the asinine purchase of xitter and his inability to keep his eye on the current successful business making him money (and who knows how long that will go on given the forays into EV other major carmakers are doing) will be his undoing (i.e. losing his place on any forbes list). He won’t end up a beggar walking behind a shopping cart in the tenderloin district in whatever city, but I think being called one of the wealthiest people on the planet gives him wood.
Keep an eye on TMTG stock. It’s been rising suspiciously on unusually high volumes and some are speculating that trump may be in the process of dumping his shares while someone else is buying to keep the price up. We won’t know who’s buying (his new BFF Elon?), but we will know in a few days if trump is dumping because of insider trading disclosure rules.
